Dress at Jiko?

We are having dinner at Jiko one night on our upcoming trip. However, we are heading right over there after our day at the Animal Kingdom, so we will be in park clothes - shorts or jeans and t-shirts. Will we be terribly out of place?

We went to Jiko a few weeks ago.It was so cold that day, that we were wearing jeans all day.We were staying at AKL ,so, I planned to change before dinner.An hour before our PS we walked by and I looked at the people walking in.Most people were casual,almost everyone was wearing jeans,some were wearing shorts and a few people were dressed up(nice pants and shirts).Needless to say I didn't change, because, I felt if did I would stand out!! However, I don't remember seen anyone with a t-shirt!!

You will love Jiko!!! Don't forget to try the flat breads and the african wines.

You won't be out of place. In the "warmer" weather, we always wear nice walking shorts and a Disney T-shirt when we dine at Jiko's

Thanks for the responses. I'm glad to hear it. We usually wear nice shorts and nice t-shirt - no tank tops or cut offs or anything. So, I'm glad to hear we can go ahead and enjoy our dinner here without going all the way back to the WL to change clothes!

I wore a t-shirt at Jiko's- after driving to WDW in that shirt! It was only a three hour trip, but still ....

We checked into AKl at 4:30pm. Our Ps was for 8, but we decided to eat first, then head to MGM. I called and got our PS changed to 5:30. We all wore our park clothes. Two nights later at Boma, I wore a dress and sandals and my DH wore a nice outfit ,as well. This was our date night and DS was at Simba's.I think that as long as your clothes are clean and nice, you will be fine. I don't think anyone packs "old" shirts to go on vacation.
