I unfortunately do remember my dreams. I say unfortunately because I hate my dreams with a passion. They are never what I want them to be. You hear these ideas from people that you'll dream about the last thing you think of before you fall asleep. AS IF! My dreams always find a way to naturally tap into my subconscious and let me tell ya, that's some scary stuff right there!
My dreams are either E.A. Poe/Stephen King weird or just too weird to categorize...or they bring out the aspects of my life that I really don't care to see. Sometimes, in my dreams, I get exactly what I wish for...it makes waking up extremely depressing...lol.
I hate it. I can never win with my dreams. Either they are so bad that I wish never had them at all (the type where you just can't stop thinking about them) or they are so perfect that you wish you didn't have to wake up. Either way, I'm not a happy camper. lol. I am also the worst insomniac you might ever know of.
Only on rare occasions am I able to lucidly dream. It has happened before, but again, rarely.
I dream in color. Sometimes I'll dream from my perspective, sometimes I'll dream from other people's perspectives and sometimes I'm just what you might call a "fly on the wall" watching my dream take place with me in it.
I've dreamt that I was of the opposite sex before and I've had the famous "flying" dream. I've had falling dreams, horror dreams, and dreams of just complete terror. I've had nightmares and night terrors also. But I've never sleepwalked - BUT I have talked in my sleep before. I woke up to realize once that I was in a conversation with my roommate. lol.
My dreams lately have been the kind where waking up is depressing mixed with very weird. Only this time...I know what's causing it and there's nothing I can do about it. Hopefully these types of dreams will stop as soon as I'm back at college and able to see the person I've been dreaming about lol.
