has anyone ever booked a cruise through DCL got it completely paid for then transfered DU? did you get money back? room credit? what happened? thanks:confused:

Very interesting...i would think you WOULD get he money back...but I have no real idea. I hope someone actually knows the answer to this because I want to know also!

We booked our first cruise straight through DCL then changed to DU. We had not paid the whole balance just the down payment. We remainder less the discounts. I would assume that you would get a refund or a stateroom credit through DU...

Nope, you can't do this. In order to transfer the ressie, it must be booked, but can't be paid in full. We had wanted to use DU for our Jan 03 trip, but it was within 60 days of sailing that we booked, and DU was closed when our hold was about to expire, so we just booked direct with DCL.

Lisa,
Sorry, that information is incorrect. You can indeed book with Dreams once your cruise is paid in full.

Dreams will send you the rebate $$ back to you by check.

Hope this helps.
