We just decided to go to Disney on Dec 29-31st and want to stay at the Dolphin. I got a rate of $284 through the Dolphin site, but I checked Dreams Unlimited and was quoted a rate of $204. Who has used Dreams Unlimited? I'm a little leary of not going through the hotel directly?
Any info would be appreciated!!!

DU is great....we have used them before...there rates have been valid....go with DU and save the money...

We just tried DU, and we saved a total of .08 on a trip in March compared with booking our trip through the Disney web site. This was a big surprise considering all the great things I have heard about this organization. I'll try again in the future.

I used DU on our June trip and they did a great job. They are often able to get the discounted rates when you aren't able to get them by calling the Swan and Dolphin directly.

We used DU for our November trip and had a great experience.

It isn't necessarily going to save you money though. After all the discounts they get for you are readily available other places too. That said they hear about discounts before you do. Originally the FTP wasn't available for our dates. The same day it was extended I had an email asking me if I wanted to change our reservation. Overall we had a 43% savings.

It's all about convenience. Beth, our consultant, looked after all of the PS details. I just let her know which restaurants on which days. She was even able to get us CRT for breakfast.

We will definitely use DU for our next trip to WDW.

Du is GREAT! Your reservation is right there on line so anytime you want to confirm...just just click on it!! They also make all the PS's on line and you don't have to call disney for anything (No long distance charge and no long hold times). I've planned myself over 12 Disney trips and this is the first time using a TA and I am VERY happy with Dreams!!!

Dreams Unlimited is the best.I could get the same discounts myself but not the priority seatings they could.They plan out an itinerary for you.They keep checking for any specials to save you money.By the way did you know they sponsor these boards?

Another thumbs up for DU!!!

I never, and I mean never have used a travel agent for anything but decided that it might be helpful to have one when returning to WDW after twenty years which I did back in October.

It was a great experience. Sue Ellen at DU was excellent. Our PSs went flawlessly at all the times and places we wanted. I can't wait to use them again for our next trip!

We used them for our November 2001 trip and will be using them again for our trip next year. If I remember correctly, Tammy was our agent. She was fabulous! She was so patient with me when I changed everything around about a dozen times! She was fast to respond to emails, and she let me know about any new discounts that she thought I'd be interested in.

I also agree that it was about the convenience. I don't want to have to worry about getting up early to make PS's. It is a relief to know that they will take care of all of that for me.

Cannot say enough about DU. Susan did a flawless job with our group of six. She booked all of our PS (varying group sizes) and our Keys to the Kingdom Tour, got us the FTP when the dates were extended, made sure we had three rooms together at CBR, and provided so much useful information in a detailed itinerary.

We will definitely use her for next year's trip.

To answer how far out you can book--if Disney is taking reservations for those dates then you can book them with Dreams.
