Dreams Unlimited?

I'm using Dreams Unlimited for the first time for this trip and they have been fantastic. My agent is Tracy also. I don't think she ever sleeps. She always seems to be available. I wont use anyone else in future for my US trips. I like the ease of being able to send an email to ask a question.

I am using Dreams Unlimited for the first time this year. I was quite hesitant to use an all on-line agency, I had always dealt with someone face to face. Beth is my agent. I have been very pleased. I have used other agencies in the past and knew more about how to get discounts and what was going on than the agent. Not this time. Not only that, she booked all my ADR's for me and saved me hours dealing with Disney. I can't say enough good things - they have been great to deal with. Give them a try, I think you will also be pleased. They do know their stuff!

We used DU for the first time on our last trip and we were assigned to Stacey. She was great and I didn't feel like I was giving up control at all. She was helpful and suggested tips for our trip and made us a schedule with the park hours etc. and suggested what parks we might want to go to on certain days, but you can do whatever you want. We ended up making our own schedule including some of the advice she gave us. And we still picked where we wanted to eat and when...she just handled the not fun part of making all of the calls for that!

We will definitely use them again especially since there is no extra cost for using them- you get all the same deals as you do with Disney (no hidden fees or anything, just free help!).

i was booked on the first podcast cruise, though i couldn't go because my son decided to get married that week (can you believe i chose my son's wedding over the podcast cruise???????????????? where are my priorities????????)..

so i ended up moving my reservation to a different cruise...and then i had to move the same reservation two more times (having to do with my sister's illness)..

anyway, through it all, Tracy, the DU cruise agent has been WONDERFUL!!!!
so kind and helpful and not at all impatient (as one might expect after all my changes)..

i most definitely highly recommend DU!!! (and i say that as someone who usually doesn't use travel agents)...

We used DU for our Disney cruise last summer, the repo cruise through the Panama Canal. This cruise filled up the first day that it was available to book, and without our agent, Kathy Werling of the podcast crew, we would not have made it onboard! I can't tell you enough how grateful we are.

However, I feel like there is one downside to Dreams. I am not always the best at putting my questions into text, and there were times when I would have liked to talk with Kathy on the phone. When I emailed her about that, I was told that because DU is an internet based agency, all my correspondence would have to be through email. Perhaps that has changed now. Our current agent is Tracy as we booked another cruise while onboard and asked for DU to handle that cruise as well. I look forward to working with her when the information about the new ships comes out.

In an effort to keep overhead low and pass along as much of a savings as possible to our clients, Dreams Unlimited Travel is an internet agency and we conduct business via email for this reason.

This also allows our agents to keep track of requests and comments as they have an email trail to follow should there be a question.

In addition to the above, emailing allows our agents to work at all hours of the day and night. I cant tell you the number of times I have heard "my agent responded to my email question at 2:00am" or something similar.

It is nice to read the coments in this thread about DU. Since I am booked with DU for the podcast cruise I have been wondering how it works with an online travel agency.

I feel the same way about not always being able to put into words exactly what I am looking for especially since I am not as knowledgeable about all of this as most of you are. I have been reading everything I can on the DIS so that I will be able to make the most out of the Land/Sea package but I am really hoping that my DU agent will make alot of suggestions on how to do all of this the best way so that I can fit everything in for my family.

Really glad to hear how helpful they are and that they will make my ADR's for me, that will be great! Really looking forward to working with them!

Please make sure you let your Dreams Unlimited Travel agent know just what you told us.

The agent / guest relationship works best when both parties have all of the necessary information.

If suggestions are what you seek....let your agent know and they will as many as they can.

I've used DUT they suck.... ha! just kidding. I'm really glad I started using them. I AM a control freak that is anal about Disney planning. However, you don't really lose any control, quite the contrary. You only give up as much control as you choose. I made all of my own ADR's. However, every time that Disney comes up with a new promotion they are your advocate making sure it's not a better deal then your reservation. That's huge, you don't have to worry about it and it can save you huge money, potentially. It doesn't cost you any money to boot. All that being said, I have a trip planned for next May for our 22nd wedding anniversary, I need it to be perfect. I have a few plans that rely on timing. I want to eat at the California Grill during Wishes. I want to take a Segway tour at EPCOT. I want to take a behind the scenes tour at MK. I don't want to make mistakes. My TA has all of my requests and ensuring they are all met. Most trips I'm OK but this one is so special. We are staying at the Poly (the home of our honeymoon) concierge level. I don't even think they had concierge back in 1988 lol. Okay so after all the rambling. Use DUT, it doesn't cost you anything, and you can have as much control as you want after the initial reservation. The other thing I really like is you can pay as you go. I like being able to pay something off. This next trip we are taking... 17 days and counting. My final payment due was $500. While I know I can just put it in the bank and make a final payment, I prefer to do it this way. I'm sorry for anyone who's pointed out any these ideas I was just too anxious to reply to read through all of the opinions and thoughts
