Dreams Unlimited question

We have used Dreams Unlimited (twice) for room only reservations when we do not use our DVC points. I recently received a quote for Thanksgiving/room only. Our DSs may be traveling with the high school band and DH and I were thinking about heading to WDW while they are there. DVC resorts using points are booked, plus we want to be able to cancel if the band decides not to go. A final decision should be made within a month, but we want to get something booked asap.

My question is, has anyone used DU for plane reservations as well? We usually use Expedia without any problems. Since this is an extremly busy time, can DU beat the fares that Expedia gives? I think travel agents can get decent rates, but is DU considered a travel agnet?

I booked through Dreams unlimited and when I asked about airfare they said they do not book airfare. Can someone confirm?

I contacted DU the other day (Monday) and the said they don't book airfare.

Thanks-I guess I thought they did make plane reservations because I read that my quote did not include plane fare-making me think maybe they dealt with this.

oh well, back to expedia!
