Dreams Unlimited. Disatisfied or satisfied?

We are using DU for our August trip (Katholyn)..she has been great so far, quick responses to my emails! (and I have already changed things a few times) I have never used a TA of any kind before, so this is all new to me. I am not sure how much they are supposed to do...

I will let you all know how it went after we get back, but I don't anticipate any problems.

We used them for our last trip and they were wonderful. There were a couple of minor gliches but they were cleared up.

I'd like to give another shout out to Cathy Miller! She helped book my trip in 2001 and did a wonderful job and that's why I'm using her again for my trip in 2006. As a matter of fact, I just emailed her for a quote so I can get my trip booked. :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Always been satisfied. Have changed my plans halfway through the planning stage and still no problems.

For our upcoming Christmas cruise, I had DU do my immediate families ressie and it went well (even though I was really confused, and was off by a year!). I booked a room for my in-laws directly with DCL (since it was the weekend), then transferred it to DU and they linked the two. That's also gone fine. Tammy (Kaa) is our agent.

About 2 months later, I decided to add a couple of days at WDW to the trip and sent in a request for a room quote. That got lost in the system. About 10 days after I sent the request, I got an email from dreams saying that if they didn't receive confirmation, my room ressie would not be good anymore. I never got the original quote, so I didn't know to send confirmation. In the meantime, I had ended up renting points off the DVC rental board, so didn't need the ressies after all. I emailed the agent (I'm pretty sure it was Marla) and explained what had happened so that they could figure out what didn't work that time.

Just like any internet based system, there are bound to be slip ups. I think once you're actually in the system, DU is very knowledgable, particularly about DCL. They certainly know more than AAA (who I booked the first cruise with!!!)

I've used Dreams for 3 cruises and 2 land vacations and they have always been great. We've had a number of agents as well and every one has been a winner. The great thing is that at time when I've needed an answer and my agent was out another one got back to me right away.

Satisfied. Used them for our last trip. No problems.:D

Merrie is SO patient, and so willing to research any questions! I had booked the DCL Wonder for May 2005; had two category 3 suites and one category 4. I just couldn't get happy with four days on a ship, at a price that would preclude a trip back to WDW for quite a while, so I emailed and cancelled the cruise. Instant response from Tammy (who had taken the reservation).

Merrie hasn't been able to book the replacement WDW trip, because I need several DVC villas for December, 2005 and CRO isn't taking those reservations yet. I'm chewing my fingernails, but I know I just have to wait it out.

Oh wow thank you all so much for the responses to my question! I definately see that a lapse must have occured b/c many of you seemed very satisfied with them! I emailed John about so thank you all once again! :D
