Dreams Unlimited and purchasing tickets

I have a question that might seem a little silly but I'll ask it anyway. When I purchase park tickets, do they send me a voucher and I get the tickets at the resort? We are using Dreams Unlimited this time and purchasing everything separately. For our last trip we had a package and our travel agent gave us vouchers for everything. I'm assuming DU does the same.

I believe that they give you the options of having them sent to your home, your hotel or you can pick them up at the parks. You will be given a confirmation number for the ticket purchase if you choose to pick them up at the parks. If you choose to have them sent to your hotel, they should be waiting for you at check in.

I'm curious as to why you booked everything separately instead of getting a package, since you decided to go thru DU for the tickets. As much as I like DU for booking my room-only and package ressies, their ticket prices are not competitive with other vendors.

With a package, can I still get the AAA discount? We are driving and only need the ticket and room ressies. What other vendors have better ticket rates? We didn't book yet with DU and if we can get better ticket prices, that's great!

Also, I'm a little confused, though. Are the tickets still the same as your room key. This last time we had one card that doubled as our room key and we used it for charging. I mean, if they send it in the mail to us how do they do that at the hotel. ?????

I booked a package through AAA for 7 nights at POFQ, 7 day park hopper with the dining package and it was approximately $200 cheaper than going through Dreams Unlimited.
