Hello

May I know how long does the show lasts? This is because I am planning for dining reservation so not sure if should have dinner before or after the show. Any advice?

Thanks x

The show lasts about 20 minutes but depending on how close to the front you are it could take you another 10-15 minutes to get out of the park once it's finished.

What time is the show in July usually? I Also want to make dinner reservations but be sure to leave enough time to get to the show.

Last year park closing in July was at 11pm, so Dreams! will end around 11.20pm. I very much doubt you would still find a table service resturant serving at that time.

I would sugest you book a resturant before hand, then see Deams! afterwards.

Thank you everyone for your replies. We will be there from 7th-11th april and looking at the dlrp website the closing time for the park is 7.30pm (except 10pm on sunday but we will arrive around 8pm so not sure if we will be able to catch the show for that night). It's a bit tricky because if I book 6pm for dining not sure if we will finished eating and make it to the park by 7.30pm. Also if I book after the show finish that will be around 8.30-9pm reservation to give plenty of time to make our way to the restaurants. Not sure if this will be too late escpecially for character dinner (was thinking cafe mickey and inventions)?

I don't know about Inventions but I am pretty sure that Café Mickey is open until 11 each night :)

Can someone please check the opening hours for 2-6 June last year? Can't view it on my iPad.
Also, how does everyone with kids manage to keep them up for late for dreams?
I'm thinking my 6 and almost 4 yr old will be too tired as they are usually in bed for 7pm in the UK, but don't want to miss it.

tracy- We would take our back the hotel for an afternoon nap so they could then stay up longer ;)

Park closing was at 11 o'clock at that time last year, I'm sorry to say!

Wow that's late, I bet it would have opened early too with the EMH as we are in a disney hotel.

I don't think we'll be able to last alllllll day and night, might be good to take it easy and go back to the hotel for a rest or is that wishful thinking!

Oh good so it is possible to do that then. Was thinking we could go back to use the hotel pool as they love swimming then could have a sleep.

What sort of time should I be booking evening meals for? About half 6?

Dreams lasts about 20-25 minutes but everyone is gathered in front of the castle for that.
For dining if you really want character dining, you do have Inventions which is in Disneyland Hotel right at the entrance of the park. On weekends you also can eat in the Auberge de Cendrillon with the princesses.
If you want to have a special spot for the show they also do a special menus is some good restaurants with tickets for reserved areas in the park so you don't have to be there too much in advance !
