But the tip, in general, is a good one for shopping while outside of the country. DH and I did some watch research before we went to Europe and got nice watches for considerable savings while we were in Switzerland.

Regardless of the Topic...I think the addition of this show to the DISUnplugged Network has been AWESOME! It has the most content of all the shows. Don't get me wrong I love UE and of course the Original show (both fun and informative), but really think every episode thus far of the DU show has given me great insight.

I know my DW saved a ton on her LV purchases when "across the pond" on our ABD trips.

We saved even more by not buying LV.

Super helpful show! So true about speaking a few words of the language in whatever country you travel to. We went to France and Switzerland recently, and while most people did speak English, people seemed to appreciate my rusty college French and five words of German that I learned online before my trip.

Great info about travel insurance, cash, and shopping (not that I would ever want LV...but still) too. Thanks again for a wonderful show!
