We had several Dreams bestowed upon us while we were at WDW. On 9/7 we where at Magic Kingdom since it opened for the Little Ones Magical Beginnings. As we got off of Mickey's Philharmagic, I noticed a Dream Team member standing over by Small World. DS (pin fanatic now) noticed that he had pins and wanted to trade with him. We walked over and made some small talk and DS traded with him. He then asked our boys if they would like to help him. He needed some one to be the Cruise Directors for the Small World! The boys were a little confused but told him that they would help him. He took the boys to the control booth and they got to wave to everyone down in the boats as they passed under the control booth. We were able to walk down and take pictures of them. Afterwards the Dream Team member gave them their certificate and we were able to ride in our own boat on Small World. The boys though that was fun.
On 9/9 we were in Epcot. We had just got done riding Mission Space and we decided that we would walk the long way around Future World to get to the land to get to our ADR at the Garden Grill. As we passed Test Track, we noticed some Dream Team members shouting and clapping their hands on the bridge/walkway that goes by the Baby Care center and goes over to Mexico. As we got closer to the bridge, a Dream Team member told us to turn left and go that way because it was a good thing. When a Dream Team member says that you listen! We walked over to the other members and they presented all of us with Dream Fastpasses! We ended up only using one on Soaring. All the other lines were short.
On 9/10 we went back to Magic Kingdom. In the afternoon we decided to visit the Tiki room (bad decision - WHAT DID THEY DO TO THE SHOW). As we walked in, the CM asked if we were a family. We said Yes! She told us that she had a special job for us. She gave us colorful leis and told us that we were going to wake up José. We got to sit directly under José. Another CM presented us with a Dream certificate for a job well done.
Later on that evening, we found ourselves at the Pooh Bear ride since Spectromagic was cancelled due to lightning. There was a Dream Team member there making small talk with everyone. She started talking to us and wishing our son a Happy Birthday. She then told the boys she was going to make them honorary citizens of the Hundred Acres woods if they could pass a quiz about Pooh Bear. She gave them 3 questions. She had to help on one of them but my 4 year old new the answers to the other two questions. She then pulled out two certificates gave them to the boys. The certificated pronounced them as the newest residents of the Hundred Acre wooods. The certificate was signed by Pooh, Piglet, Eyore, and Tigger. They are cute!
MGM was our last day in the parks (9/11). We had an early ADR at the Playhouse Disney meal. As we came out, we ran into a Dream Team Member. Our now Pin Fanatic 4 year old, saw that she had some pins and wanted to check her pins out. By now DS had 7 of the Hidden Mickey Monorail pins and he was looking for the Silver Monorail. After a valiant effort on her part to check with the other Dream Team members and see if they had it, we told her that we were off to Star Wars. She told us that we should as about a Flight Check as we had mentioned that our 3 year old loved Star Wars but was too short to ride on the ride. She told us that a Flight Check was where they would show us the movie but the simulator wouldn't move. She walked over to Star Tours with us. She told cautioned us that if the line was too long, it might not happen. She asked the CM at Star Tours if it was possible to get a Flight Check. The CM called back and said Yes that it was possible. The Dream Team member walked with us up to the front of the line and over to our "ship". She didn't ride with us but she did wish us a fun trip! Our 3 year old loved the Flight Check. He didn't like the fact that the rest of us rode the ride again (this time with movement). That brought tears immediately. The CM gave him a birthday card and that softened the tears.
