We know DU used to give an in room gift if 8 families or more were booked on your cruise, but have sinced noticed while checking our ressie that this info (an update on the number of families booked) is gone. Is the gift gone also, we never received anything in our previously booked trips with DU, somewhat sad and concerned. Any help?

I noticed the same thing on our reservation page with DU. I wonder what is going on. Maybe someone that has recently cruised will be able to fill us in!!

I e-mail DU about this when the "gift" message first disapeared.I was told that if you were promised a gift when you booked, and the min. number of cabins are booked on your cruise, you will still get the gift. DCL is changing the way they handle TA insentive gifts.So if you booked AFTER the change you will NOT get the gift. If you have any questions, e-mail DU.

We booked on board 2002 for 8/9/03 and transfered the reservation to DU. We had the message that 8 families were booked and we would receive a gift. About a month before we cruised the message was gone from our reservation as stated in above messages. But there was a gift from DU in our stateroom, a Mickey Bon Voyage picture box. So I think the previus post was correct, DU is honoring anything that was book with 8 guests before DCL stated that they are changing the policy. Wonder what the new policy will be?

Thats good news...............since we had 8 families booked already, before the change, for our Feb cruise.

We got our gift in July but were "grandfathered" in since we were originally told about the gift. However, from what DU told me, I'm under the impression there will no longer be any gifts given out...at least not anytime soon. This was DCL's idea to discontinue this. I have an extra gift if anyone wants one. We had 2 staterooms and I don't need both.
