Dreams Do Come True in Port Orleans. ~~*The End! Final Thoughts. 2/25 Pg. 41*~~

First, I didn't get the welcome shout out and I'm pouting about it! ;)

Second, Leslie, you look WONDERFUL!!! And I love that you had so much more energy. With my surgery coming this summer, and then TWO (yes, two! :goodvibes) trips planned next school year, I'm so excited to have more stamina!!

Third, I hope hope hope that your new sneaks solve the foot problem. Honestly, blisters are the worst and I know that you know that!!

Fourth, I love the freedom of getting to hop all over and do anything that appeals to you; but I also love that you rode Soarin' "with" that family. It was so sweet! One of these days I really want to plan a solo trip.

Fifth, Yay you started already!! :woohoo: Welcome Home!!

I'm here! My silly work has really got to stop blocking the DIS. :sad2: What a great start you're off too. French Quarter looks absolutely lovely. Almost inspires this deluxe gal to give it a try.

I am so proud of you for trying different foods but being satisfied with a bite or two! You can really see the results of all your hard work in your photos!

What a find the Mary Poppins cookbook is!

Boo to the Le Cellier CM for laughing. :headache: We need buttons that say we're DIS'ers not rookies.

I am a bit nervous about the sneaker saga continuing.

Can't wait for more!!! popcorn::

I'm with you on French Quarter. We really enjoyed it on our October trip, and we had a great room location, too. It is very peaceful and quaint, and with the emphasis on all the Princess and the Frog/New Orleans stuff, it was extra neat to be there.
So peaceful, it was a nice way to vacation and recoup from the busy parks.

Im here and reading! :thumbsup2
Welcome!

First of all, you look great LL!!

POFQ was our first resort that we stayed at so it holds a special place in my heart. It is a very relaxing resort!

You got a lot done this morning! The LeCellier CM could have at least glanced down!

I hope the new sneakers work out!
Thank you! I think I look a lot better in my pictures but of course I'm critical of myself and want to look even better. :rotfl:

See, I thought the Le Cellier CM could at least have glanced down too! :lmao:

My NEW ticker and I are in!!! Can't wait to hear all about it.
I am so sorry that I forgot you!! :headache:

This surgery is the very best thing that I have ever done. I can't believe how much better I feel. I have to brag on Marc for a second. He went to the doctors last Thursday and he lost 14lbs in TWO WEEKS! We have a healthy competition going at the moment. He's lost 64 and I've lost 52. I must catch up!!

You will have to stay tuned for the blister report.

I really did enjoy riding with that family. They were all so sweet and loving the ride. It's great riding with first timers.

Silly work. I panic all the time that my work will block. You will hear anguished screams all the way from Massachusetts if that day ever comes. :rotfl:

Yeah...I was not happy with the Le Cellier CM. A glance would have made me happy.

Thanks on the weight loss. I'm working hard. It's a struggle everyday.

POFQ is beautiful!

I hope your feet were ok. I'm prone to blisters, so I know your pain

I'm so glad you both liked POFQ. You know I just have to say this, but......I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!! Do I know what my gals would like or what?:rotfl:

LL .....I don't blame you one bit for freaking out about your feet. I know how miserable my blisters were in September and I don't care to repeat that experience....EVAR!!! It is so wonderful that you are noticing how much more energy you have compared to May! :thumbsup2 That must be an awesome feeling.

Great score on TSM. It's so great that you've already visited two parks.

Can't wait to read about Jen's arrival and your first dinner!

Great start!! You look great & I'm glad that you noticed an improved energy level. :thumbsup2

We really did love it!!

Blisters are hideously evil. I hate them. You will just have to stay tuned to hear about blisters in regards to this trip.

I really did notice an improved energy level. It was awesome, it was a great feeling.

Isn't that stampede for TSM nuts? I'm lucky that I can send Shocker! Those folks show no mercy at all. So glad you weren't trampled!
It sounds like you found your Disney groove over at WS...
How awesome that Jen got to leave early!:goodvibes
Can't wait to hear all about your evening and Jen's arrival!

Now I am worried about your feet!

LL you look fantastic! I am sure that you did tour WDW so much better with your weight loss.

Glad you liked FQ. I too love the moderates....and FQ is probably my favorite!

I can't believe TSM was that crazy in January wow!

Oh my goodness! I'm stressed for your feet reading how stressed you are!

I hope that calms down for you.

Scary about the TSM rush, makes me not want to ever attempt DHS rope drop! Very dissapointing that the CM at LeCellier was rude.

YAY for Jen heading down earlier than expected!

Check in and security were both uneventful and before I knew it I was waiting at my gate with more than two hours to go until departure.

My flight was a normal flight. I was a bit more freaked out than usual. I’ve decided I do not like flying alone. I guess if I’m going to plummet to my death I want to die with someone I know. The guy I was sitting next too had way too much cologne on which gave me a slight headache.

I'm exactly the same way, if I'm going to die on a plane I want to be with someone I know and love. I'm a terrible flyer period so it always helps me to have Phillip along to help calm me down and hold my hand LOL!!!

I just had to laugh at this. My grandmother always said the same thing. She never wanted to fly alone in case the plane went down. She didn't care if one of us would go too. :lmao:

I'm so glad that your first day was off to a good start and that you liked POFQ. It's always going to be a favorite of mine.

I so would love to have some solo time in the parks. And yes yo do look amazing - keep up the good work, I too have weight struggles and have hit a plateau. I don't think I have reached my goal for this trip in regards to the weight loss, but I keep trying.
If you don't have the Princess & the Frog CD/ Music you definitely need to get it, we listen to it every time we're in the car!
Love Ray " Going Down the Bayou!" :goodvibes

Man no time like the present! I clearly was too busy at work and home to get on the first few pages but at least it is the first FIVE!!! Can't wait to read yay yay yay !!! :yay::yay::yay:

My lips are sealed about the answers to your questions. ;)

Ah, seeing pictures of POFQ made me remember all the things I love about it!!! Such good memories of our stays there! :lovestruc

That TSM rush is insane! I think it is the craziest one of them all! People are so nuts -- it's only a ride after all!

World Showcase looks nice and relaxing, but I am sorry that you were so stressed out about your feet!

Woo hoo about Jen getting to leave early! I was wondering how she was able to get to DtD so quickly!

Okay, BACK! How nice to have a day to just do "whatever" with no set plan! I agree on the TSM -- it is the only really exciting attraction at DHS (for families) I think this is why it is still soooo popular. There are not many there. Of course there are other great things to do, but not as much as other parks... DISNEY needs to get in gear and add more crowd controlling attractions to DHS!

I'm sorry you weren't able to do 4 parks, but I'm glad you got rest.

Soarin and ToT are the best rides to go with new people.

NOOOO not the beginning of a blister.....:sad2:

Wow, you are off to a blazing start! Great pictures - you look terrific!

I'm sorry you weren't able to do 4 parks, but why hurt yourself right off the bat if you weren't feeling up to it???
I guess I'm glad we didn't make rope drop at DHS on our trip! I would have cried! As I just posted in my update, we got there around an hour after RD and only waited 25 minutes even though it was posted at 40.

Hope the blisters stay out of your way!!
Yay for Jen being on her way early too!
