DAY 3: CHECKING IN TO BC, DHS- STAR WARS WEEKENDS
Stitches wake up call came at 7am! We dragged out of bed too shower-letting the kids sleep a little longer, a little difficult in such a small space, but every tiny bit helps later!!!
It was the day we were going to the BC for the rest of our vacation

We were soo excited, we had never stayed there and we ready to go. The ASM was good but we were anticipating the little more that the BC has to offer!
The boys got dressed in their Star Wars Weekend shirts i made them!
We made a few trips to the car- this is when having a stroller comes in handy-packed it up and took everything out-we only had one bag of clothes for the couple of days and some wedding stuff to bring out! After check in we were heading to DHS, needed an early start to try and get there for opening since we anticipated it to be busy since it was star wars weekend!
We decided to stroll to the courtyard to "say goodbye", the last minute pictures:
And

away we go!
It was only a few minute drive and we had arrived-
We parked and went in, leaving all our things in the car- since it was only 8am we figured the room would not be ready and we would just come back in the afternoon before dinner and unpack.
There was no wait at the check in desk, clearly, proudly wearing my ALMOST MARRIED pin and hoping for maybe a little pixie dust- we booked a standard room- all I asked for was a full balcony- it makes nap time a little easier on the parent waiting for DS to wake up-
Much to my surprise the room was ready and she said it had a full balcony and a daybed(always a good option so the older boys dont have to share a bed)
We grabbed just our welcome party favors since they were chocolate and headed to the room, it was on the water side of the hotel, right in the area of the pool on the 4th floor which was great we went in-- the room was nice- spacious( in compared to ASM) and bright-

all was great--------UNTIL I OPENED THE CURTAIN TO SEE THE VIEW-----I felt nauseous and instantly though of work. (i am a nurse) and i hate taking patients to a room in the hospital when the view is the roof below and the vents and things.
The view was the roof of the 3rd floor below was rocks on the roof and directly in front of the balcony was a architectual peak the completely obstructed the view to ANYTHING!

All you could see on the sides of the peak where some tree tops! I wish i had gotten a picture I was too upset-
DH at this point could tell I was NOT HAPPY

And kept asking "What do you want to do?" I kept saying I dont want to look at that for 9 nights!!! again, "what do you want to do?" This went on for a few minutes, when in my distress I said one of the keys doesnt work lets go back down and I'm going to see if they will change the room--we grabbed the favor box, left and were hoping not to look back!
We went back down I told the same CM that one of the keys didnt work. Then I told her that the view was awful- rocks and the back of a roof--I told her that we would like to change rooms, it did not matter if it was ready, I was willing to give up the balcony, daybed. I also asked if there was any upgraded views- which I said we would pay for--
She called whoever she needed to call to get a room change and after what seemed like forever she said she was able to get us a different room, which was also ready-convienent-and

ixidust: was an upgrade to a waterview- for no charge!!
We apprehensively decided we better go check it out, just in case--
it also had a daybed and the view was wonderful, and the location was also great- 3rd floor right above the lobby area- which was great for the morning coffee fillup!
The mandatory Mickey head towels at checkin-
The view of the room from outside-
And from the room- a great view across to the BW-
Much happier we decided since we were already behind our original schedule and were not going to be at DHS for opening we decided to head down to the Beach Club Marketplace for a little to eat-and the boys were driving us crazy because they were STARVING- it really is amazing how often we starve them!!
We had breakfast sandwiches- ham, egg and cheese on croissants and a couple bakery items to share-YUM! We sat out on a patio across from the Marketplace - it was nice and quiet- we talked about the days events then finally headed over to DHS--
We went to the lighthouse to catch the friendship boat-
The crowds were definately pouring in, starwars music playing we were excited- the boys love star wars they were pumped
We were greeted by the stormtroopers-
