Well the biggest one is that we got to go at all and all stayed healthy. My DD got strep 2 days before our trip and I was *this* close to canceling -- until I found out it was strep and not a virus so she was both feeling fine and not contagious by the time we left. Fortunately none of the rest of the family came down with it either. :cool1:

We were lucky enough to have several magical moments (not sure if all of them were "official") and one dream :)

For the dream we won Fast Passes at MK on the busiest day we were there. We felt really lucky with that one. We got off Haunted Mansion pretty early in the morning and were given them. As the park filled up we were able to zip through the lines, which with a 4 and 6 year old (and sometimes our 1 year old) made the whole day.

For our magical moments, we were picked as a VIP family for the Lion King show, so we got front row, had the characters interact with us throughout the show, and then our DDs got to go up and dance in the final number. Also, our younger DD was asked to drive the boat on the Jungle Cruise, which she thought was great. Then they also got to co-pilot the monorail (which isn't really a magical moment, but it was for them :) ).

A very fortunate trip for us!

Hi, it sounds like you all had anawesome time. I was wondering about the fastpasses. If you win them from the Dream Team, are they good on any attraction, and are the valid for the entire day?

We won some today at Animal Kingdom. They are good for just that one day and there is one pass for the 6 major rides at AK.

Wow, that is a great "dream" to win! Congats to you guys as well. Thanks for the info!

You get a "card" with tabs on it. Each tab is one fast pass to each fast pass attraction at the park. When you use it you break it off and turn it in. Not all rides are fast pass rides. For example, Pirates doesn't use fast passes, so your Dream Fast Pass doesn't have a tab for that one. Splash Mountain is, so you have a tab for Splash Mountain. They are good at any time of the day you receive them (they don't have "windows" of time you have to return during).

We didn't win any "dreams", however, we did get a lot of magical moments that probably meant more to our kids than a dream fastpass would. While using a baby swap on Dinosaur, my son and daughter and I were picked to be the family of the hour. We got to go down the back way. We were given an empty vehicle to ride in and the nice CM gave us a certificate when we got off. We received a certificat for answering some questions about the Presidents in a store in Liberty Square (I think it was Yankee Traders, but am not sure). We received a certificate from Le Cellier for being the best at 20 questions (we played this for about 30 minutes with the two CM hostesses while waiting for our table. It really was a lot of fun. My daughter got picked to do a treasure hunt after buying a Jasmine wig and received a princess hat. My son was picked to play Deal or No Deal for pin trading at the entrance of Epcot. He received a certificate for that. All of these moments made our trip more magical. While it would have been great to win one of the big prize, the best thing of all was going to Disney with 12 family members and having a wonderful time!
