We also finished making the shirts for the trip! Meg got a Pooh and friends one, just for our lunch at CP!

And I made one probably to wear at MK. I just love the Cuties!

We got a backpack yesterday at LL Bean for the trip! We went just to get Meg a new pack for school, and I came across the greatest pack! It is their most lightweight one, and the whole back is mesh, so it is more breathable (making you sweat less while wearing it!). I picked this green for the DIS!

We have just been so crafty lately and made some luggage tags too.

I borrowed the idea from one of the FE threads

And we added a Disney touch to the thank you cards we'll be handing out to the CMs on the ship:

27 more days till we leave! I dragged down the suitcases from the sweltering attic today....we obviously can't wait!!!

Thanks! I just loved printing out all of the decorations! (and using them!)

Our home resort is Wilderness Lodge. Going to stay there next time!!!

So, our trip is actually over, and I never made it back here to our PTR before the trip started! Sorry about that!

You know how life tends to get in the way!? Well, towards the end there, I wasn't really all that excited actually because at the beginning of August, my company went on strike.
And that kind of ruined my happy Disney feelings. I really wasn't looking forward to the trip much at all, sadly. Except maybe to escape from walking in circles in a picket line every day! But, it's hard to be excited when you're so worried about money, or the lack of! I tried to keep that from Meg as much as possible, but she felt it somewhat too.

But, the trip turned out much better than I would have expected in the couple of gloomy weeks before it! You'll just have to read our new trip report coming up soon. (Probably starting tonite actually, if Meg gets her way!)
