Dream Thanksgiving cruise Nov 23, 2015

I found some more stuff for the FE gifts yesterday. My DH is going to freak when he sees all of the stuff I want to bring! I will have to bring a suitcase just for the FE gifts! It's ok because then I will have room for more souvenirs to bring home.

Good to see that I'm not the only one finding things already! My mom is excited that she finished her project and is going to be leaving them with me to bring in the car instead of paying for a suitcase on the plane. Its going to be a long year of trying to control myself.

Pictures! I want to see pictures!! :yay:

Did anyone get this email from Disney about the Very MerryTime Cruises? The dates are for this year but hopefully they will do the same next year. It basically tells about all of the extra things Disney Cruise Line will be doing during the holidays. Our cruise seems to fall into the Thanksgiving and Christmas celebration dates. Here is the link to check it out. :santa:
When we took the thanksgiving cruise in 2012 they had just started making the gingerbread house during that cruise. I can't wait to see one finished. It was spectacular and smelled amazing! All of the cast members wore Christmas scarves during the entire cruise, unfortunately they didn't sell them but they were so cute.

Oooh yum! I hope it is finished by the time we get on the ship. :cake:

Christmas scarves, that gives me an idea! :scratchin How cute that must have been!

Lets see if I can Attach anything. This is the first two of the fish extender poskets. I created the cross stitch patterns for my mom who stitched them. I dont do that sort of thing but apparently 90 different colors is a big deal and she was grumbling at me the whole time. Only 6 more to go LOL!

pixiedust:Welcome!pixiedust:

I will add you to the first post.

In answer to your question about the FE gifts some people choose to give one or two gifts per cabin and others give a gift to everyone in the cabin. It just depends on what you want to do. There is a thread dedicated to FE gift ideas and it is great. If you google fish extender gifts there are people who sell stuff specifically for the FE.

We are the Nofsinger Family. Sorry I forgot to mention that before. We were on Fantasy last year in December the week before Christmas (our first voyage at sea). It was also our middle son's birthday (12/17). Worked out perfectly as it was also pirate night with fireworks. So Awesome!
We were just at WDW in late August. We have the Disney fever as I booked this cruise last Thursday less than a month from our trip. I was amazed how hard it was for our vacation planner to find two staterooms next to each other with 432 days to set sail. This cruise will be a land and sea adventure for us. Two days at WDW, then the boat, then two more days at the parks. Now I have 428 days to be magically excited and giddy.
Looking forward to try the FE fun. Thanks for the suggestions.
Google search a-go!

I believe that this cruise usually sells out and the prices go way up. That's why I booked as soon as I could. I wanted to be able to choose the room that I wanted. I am kind of surprised at how excited my family is to get back on the ship next year. It could be because we are cruising with family this time. Our last Disney cruise was in 2012 on the Fantasy. My 9yr daughter keeps asking me "are we going on the ship this year"? No, but we are going to Disney and Universal to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in about 3 weeks. That will get her by for this year. :) We have not ever cruised on the Dream before but we have been on the Fantasy. That ship was incredible! I hope the Dream is just as nice.

Scott Family, Cabin 6580, dis name tlkscott. We are a family of three. My husband and our 7 (at time of travel) year old son. This is our first ever cruise. Not sure if we will like a cruise or not, but thought a Disney cruise would be the best way to try. Not sure yet about FE.

pixiedust:Welcome Scott Family!pixiedust: (That's also what they'll say when you get on the ship)

You never know if you like cruising until you try one. Disney is the best one to try first! A Disney cruise is like a five star all inclusive resort with great views from every window! :thumbsup2

Things like the Dis boards and the Fish Extender exchange just add a little more pixie dust to our vacation. pixiedust:

I added your information to the first post.

Can't wait until the countdown calendar is under 365 days!!! Getting close!!

Almost time for me to book our hotel for the 3 nights before the cruise! That gets me excited! :cool1:

Where are you staying? We're thinking of staying at Wilderness Lodge the Sat and Sun night before!

We will be staying at either OKW or AKL or a combination of both. We plan to stay Fri, Sat and Sun before the cruise. It depends on how many people will be staying with us. I have enough points to stay at OKW in a GV for three nights so if we have 10 people each night that is where we will stay. Less people = AKL 2br fri, sat and GV on Sun night. Or some other combination of OKW and AKL although that would be somewhat inconvient.
