Dream Team no where to be found

Our trip also was from June 8th through the 15th and we again ended up with no "dreams." We didn't even see the Dream Squad.

However, on our last day we ate at Crystal Palace for breakfast and sat next to the family who had stayed in the castle the night before. We really enjoyed talking with them and hearing all about their night. They were really nice and were still thrilled they had been picked. We felt we were pretty lucky just to sit next to the family, and said that is probably about as close as we will ever get to staying in the castle! It was so much fun talking to them!

Did the family tell ya'll where they were and what time they had been picked? That is so neat!!! I'm so happy for those families!! It's such a dream-come-true!!

They said they were on the Winnie the Pooh ride in the morning. It was their very first trip and they weren't sure at first why they were being asked all kinds of questions.

She said after they answered all their questions, the CM got out the DVD player and showed them a short clip of what they had won and where they would be staying for the night. How cool! They were also celebrating one of their daughters birthdays! We were so jealous!

My family and I were there in April 2008, coming off It's A Small World when the Dream Team congratulated all of us and handed us the year of a million dreams Mickey ears. We just happened to be at the right place at the right time.

This past Wednesday, we got off of Goofy's Barnstormer and were lucky enough to get ears. It really is just a matter of being in the right place. I will say that I looked and looked for the dream squad, but only saw one member on our first day at MK earlier in our trip. I saw a few dream fastpasses at all the parks. I think that many dreams are handed out in attractions (either waiting in line or getting off the attraction). I don't think many are done out in the open. We were at rope drop almost everyday for MK, HS, and AK and didn't see the dream squad. Of course, rope drops last week were pretty busy, so it is hard to see anything as you file into the park.

On our trip last summer, my DD had spotted the Dream team a few times one morning at MK. It seemed we were always just a few steps behind them when they were awarding someone a Fast Pass or Pin or something! My DD was disappointed, but I kept telling her how great it was to see the smiles on the faces of those familes! Well, around 10:30am, we were coming out of Peter Pan's Flight and VOILA!!!! We were granted a Fast Pass by 3 Dream Team members! You just never know!!!! I don't think I saw any other team members at any other parks the rest of trip, except at maybe MGM!
