Oh I am so excited to read your trip report. We have booked a Dream cruise in May 2012 with rooms, 9578, 9580 and 9582. Disney has not been able to answer my questions and since you have actually stayed in one of the rooms we reserved, maybe you can help me?? First, could you open your veranda to room 9580 (the room on your right?) And second, did you have that partially obstruction on the left side of your veranda? We are hoping to be able to open the verandas to all three rooms, but no one at Disney knows for sure! It sounds like the room is in a good location. I know my kids in one room want to access the drink station at all times of the day and night! Also, do you know if the Frozone ice cream station is open late at night? Really appreciated reading your trip report and sounds like you had a fabulous time.

I just saw that you're from St Louis...what area? My husband grew up there and he still has lots of family there. We were there last month for Spring Break and had a great time!

Hello again and thank you so much for the quick reply. I was afraid that all 3 verandas would not open up to each other as I really couldn't get an answer from Disney Cruise Line. I hope one of my kid's family will not feel isolated from us since they will not have the connecting door either. Did you feel that obstruction was a nuisance? The pictures of another room with the same obstruction didn't appear terrible, hoping that is the case. I was shocked we had such a hard time getting 3 rooms together for my family since we booked more than a year in advance!! Glad you had a great visit to St. Louis this spring. We live in West County, Ellisville. I grew up in St. Louis and we moved back here 19 years ago and just love it. Of course now that we are older, not so crazy about the winters!! And we are big Disney fanatics, going several times a year and last year took the whole family (12 of us with grandkids) on the Wonder for a 4 night cruise. The grandkids cannot stop talking about the cruise and this next cruise is a surprise that I think we will tell them at Christmas. Our 3 year old granddaughter always wants to watch "Lucy on the cruise ship" video; her name is Lucy. I am glad you are making memories with your young children. It is such an investment you won't regret. Again, thank you for all your help.
