Hi gang.

Husurdady - Lucky you getting that Hawaii cruise. I couldn't believe they booked it full in 2 days. Maybe when we get retired like you we can do a 15 day, something to look forward to.

TracyKim, I agree about just doing the carryon for the little bottles. Don actually has a special lightweight collapsable 20 inch wheeled suitcase that he uses only for carrying on his beer, a 30 pack fits very nicely for him.

I can't blieve someone would think that DCL was "dry"!! Besides the stuff listed, don't forget the
Beer Tasting,
Margarita/Tequila Tasting,
Martini Tasting,
Wine tasting
Whiskey Tasting
and Mixology Class.

Don did the beer tasting last cruise (and he can put away his beer), well, he was pretty "toasted" when he got back. He actually had to take a nap.

Holy Cow! We (Albertsons) have banner stores in Florida? News to me! LOL It totally does NOT suprise me that the salesperson is clueless. I have been in charge of those idiots and it made me bat (explitive) crazy! They didnt pay me enough to be in charge any more!

Put she LIVES in Florida!!! That is the part that gets me!! We are 25 mins away from the "World". I can understand that she may not have done her homework for the cruises but GEEZ Epcot Food and WINE Festival??? Maybe she has never been to Epcot.

She did say that Celebrity cruises allow you to bring alcohol on board. Is that true??

I would assume we'll have the following options in the big theater:

African Cats
Mars needs moms
Gnomeo and Juliet

From looking at recent Navigators they'll probably throw another catalog title or two in the mix... any guesses?

I'm hoping for Pirates 4, HOP, Rio, Gnomeo and Juliet, and Mars Needs Moms. We're going to try and take DS to his "first" movie.

Does anyone know how the On Demand feature works in the room? Are they the same movies and shows that are in the theaters while we cruise? DH and I will be watching a lot in the room once DS falls alseep.

No more "eyeing" the Hawaii 4/29/2012 cruise we booked this morning.........WOW! 15 days. S.... alot...lot cheaper than two 7 day eastern/western cruises.

Yahoo! Have you been to Hawaii before? It's absolutely beautiful. Do they dock at any stops for more than a day?

Sadly, Hop and Rio aren't distributed by a Disney company (Hop is Universal and I believe Rio is Dreamworks), but the others should be showing for sure! The reason they show movies still in theaters is because they own the rights to the ones they show.

When I sailed the Wonder, the "first run" films were only available in the theaters (usually the Buena Vista theater, sometimes the Walt) but not in the cabins. The cabins had lots of Disney movies, ABC shows (because Disney owns them!) and older movies.

Only 40 days until we leave for Florida

Between hours being cut, and possibly replacing glasses and contacts, im looking at about a grand out of the normal budget...... Im just glad the only things left to pay for are the hotels and any food before and after the cruise..... GAH.

Wow, that really stinks. But don't let it get you down, things will work out. It's good that most of your trip is already taken care of, you'll definately need a chance to relax now!

I know how you feel.....Over the years, it seems like every time we take a trip something brakes or needs taken care of right before we leave. We've had major car repairs, washer and/or dryer and TV dying, sewer drain in the basement backing up and on and on. Its at the point that I now expect something to need replaced or repaired everytime.
