Has anyone else gotten an unexplained refund from DCL? I assume port fees or something went down, because our cruise fair dropped by a whopping $17.50 :lmao: I saw the credit on my card and then got a new confirmation from DCL with the new price, but no explanation!

Us too (though it was only $7.80, I think). I didn't bother calling to ask, though, but now I'm curious as to what it could be. We were talking the other day about how we were thankful to get our payment in before they decided to add a fuel surcharge, so we really weren't expecting some sort of refund.... :)

Hello everyone,
17 working days left of tax season, but who's counting :rotfl: I went on e-bay and ordered my FE this weekend so I can cross that off my list of to-do's. I've also been setting aside good looking magazines, so I'll have plenty to read on vacation.

I've been reading reviews and it sounds like they may or may not be moving the show times. Makes it hard to plan and I'm such a planner :goodvibes

We already had everything booked at the 75 day mark. Online check-in is complete. All hotel reservations confirmed, car rental is confirmed, KSC tickets confirmed. Just waiting on new parts for my FE gifts!

Congrats! I'm still hoping for a Palo brunch so we'll see.

Question for everyone participating in FE - Is the Cruise Mix CD idea old? As in, have you all already gotten about 6 and can't stand to have another one? I might be doing that (and am trying to find some unique songs you may not expect!), but if everyone is tired of them I will do something else.

That sounds like a cool gift to me :thumbsup2

BTW - I think that deck 13 forward, above the adult pool at "Currents" would be a good spot for our onboard cruise meet. It's a family area with nice seating and plenty of space. This is just my suggestion so please offer any other ideas you all may have.

Just tell me where to be and when, DS may not be getting a nap the first day but that means he should be down for the count when it's time for bed at the end of the day.

I have not seen one, although the card that I did the original deposit on is expired, and the final payment card has not recorded a refund.....

I am so obsessing about the cabin number I just so wish they would send me mine!!
I called them yesterday and they said may not even know until 14 days before!!

:confused3

I received a refund also!! $15.83  I called my TA and she thinks it was an overpayment for port charges. But really, Who am I to object?? :lmao:

We are sailing B2B so it looks like I got the refund on only one of the cruises.

I was joking about our "huge" refund of $17.50, and my DH said "Don't joke, that's two more drinks for me!!" Ahem, one for you and one for me, dear :rotfl:

I will post a schedule of some sort in the near future.

M.C. JOHNNY QUEST JIM, thanks. Sounds like a great place. And what time are we meeting?

Hey Don,

Being a rookie on this cruise thing I'm not sure what the best time might be. Any suggestions? Should we do it before the safety drill or after? I'm not even sure what time that happens.

Go Phillies! Jim

Meeting after the safety drill is best if we're going to have a lot of people get on the boat late, but otherwise it's a better idea to do it before, because the drill lasts from 3:30-4:15, and those who have the late seating for dinner have their show (83rd Annual Academy Awards, in this case) starting at 5:00, so unless we head straight from the drill up to the deck, meet up real quick, then head off to whatever our next stop is, time might be a little tight.

(Wow, that was an extremely long sentence....)

Is the FE list a current up to date verified list? I am ready to start putting mine together and just wanted to make sure.

Just tell us where and when to be for the cruise meet and we shall be there!!! I just HAVE to meet (or just lay my eyes on) some of these people on this thread!!! :rotfl2:

I vote for before the safety drill. This is simply because right after the safety drill is when people start gathering for the sail away party. By 2:30-3 everyone should have had time to drop their things in their staterooms....

I noticed a refund of $8.53 earlier and didn't know what it was for. We are doing a B2B, so I'm guessing we only got a refund for this cruise and not both.

JIM , ......what is a phillies?............ I wear CUBBIE BLUE.
OK......on all of our past cruises we would have our meet & greet at 3 pm.We always had plenty of time afterward to go back to our state room, get our life jacket and on the back of our door see where we had to go for our head/room count safety drill. Now I see on the Dream we no longer have to take the safety vest with us.That's fine with me....I only want to put it on only for the "REAL THING". So........ With your "OK"..... I would " suggest "........to inform every one that we are all meeting at " CURRENTS " up on deck 13 forward at @ 3 P.M............And the last one there has to buy.....U-read that MTMOMMA. :rotfl2: :lmao: PS...don't u-just love cruisin'?
