Anyone who has done this crusing thing before, may I please as a couple of questions... I am sure I could find the info somewhere, but when I have looked I have been unable to find :(

1. Dinner rotation: Will we find out on the boat what night we eat at which place?

2. Dinner- we are assigned the second seating, which I orginally thought was a good thing- not being rushed to come in and get ready for dinner..... but after reading a couple of posts it seems we might miss shows???? is this true?? should i try to change our seating????

3. attire: is there a night that we need to be "formal" or just sunday dress for dinner?

4. priate night... do we know which night?? i have a friend who went and their whole family (adults included) dressed in priate theme.. just wondering if most are going to dress or not..

I am sorry if these questions are dumb, but i am totally new and any advice is GREATLY appreciated!!!!

1. You will have the rotation notation on your KTTW card, so yes, when we check in we will find out our order.
2. Since we are on Mountain time at home, the late seating puts us at a "normal" dinner time. I think that late seating would be okay you just have to plan ahead with the little ones.
3. There is no true "formal" night on the 4 night cruises. However you are free to dress up any way you choose!
4. I do know it is the night that the dining assignment repeats, however I am not clear as to wich night that is. As for dressing up, Chance keeps waffling back and forth between wanting to and not wanting to. I am leaning towards not, because I simply dont want to drag the extra with me.

According to the recent Navigator's I've seen, Pirate Night will be the third night. I dressed up on our last cruise, but I haven't decided whether we're going to do that again or just wear bandanas this time!

You won't miss the shows having second seating, they always have a show opposite each seating so everyone can see them! I've heard they are also having a matinee of one or two of the shows now as well.

There is a semi-formal night, where you'll see people dressed in everything from cruise casual to Sunday best to evening gowns! You're not required to be formal ;)

It's me question girl:)

For the FE exchange, do I need to bring each gifts for each of the people on the list for everyday that we are on the boat OR am I just do one day? I remeber reading somewhere that there may be a list with particular days assigned to people. I just want to make sure I order enough stuff:)

Also- are we doing just stuff for the kids or for everyone in the room??

thanks!!!

You don't have to do everyday; Johnny Quest is working on a schedule assigning us all different days.

Who you make/buy gifts for us up to you. I've done different things for adults, girls and boys. If you search the boards there are some great threads with ideas for both homemade and non-homemade FE gifts. ;)

I was wondering about this, too - Thanks! :goodvibes

I started working on my actual Fish Extender today - it got me so excited for the cruise (as if I wasn't already!).

Question for everyone participating in FE - Is the Cruise Mix CD idea old? As in, have you all already gotten about 6 and can't stand to have another one? I might be doing that (and am trying to find some unique songs you may not expect!), but if everyone is tired of them I will do something else.

KELLY......on this board, there isn't a dumb question.........only a bunch of dumb answers. :lmao:
I pulled the din-rotations groups up below for you Dear. Hope this helps you.
When you get your KTTW [key to the world] card [room door key], at check in,one of those combinations will be printed on it.

At the three restuarants; ANIMATORS PALATE , ROYAL PALACE , and ENCHANTED GARDEN.
THE ROTATIONS, the 3 groups and where you will be eating every night.

the nights; 1 2 3 4

[1] AP--EG--RP--RP

[2] RP--AP--EG--EG

[3] EG--RP--AP--AP

A little side note; Ever wonder where the servers know where to work? Or which group they are working with?
I asked this question once to one of the servers on the WONDER.........and he told me that the 4 groups, for the 4 restuarant are named. The Orlando group of CM, the Paris group, the LA group, and the Vegas group. How about that. Who would have known.

I've never gotten one, and I think it's a great idea! :thumbsup2

Thanks doughmankc, I have added them to the FE list. Please tell them we are very happy that they could join the group, and we look forward to meeting them.

I will post a schedule of some sort in the near future.

BTW - I think that deck 13 forward, above the adult pool at "Currents" would be a good spot for our onboard cruise meet. It's a family area with nice seating and plenty of space. This is just my suggestion so please offer any other ideas you all may have.

I like this idea also Bella as long as you don't record Husurdady singing Motown or somthing.

Great idea I would love a cd!

Has anyone else gotten an unexplained refund from DCL? I assume port fees or something went down, because our cruise fair dropped by a whopping $17.50 :lmao: I saw the credit on my card and then got a new confirmation from DCL with the new price, but no explanation!
