Dream: May 22, 2011

We are booked on this cruise, our first, we've cruised Celebrity in the past. I am really getting excited. I paid off the cruise today.
I was reading on Cruise Critic that the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie comes out on 5/21 so the movie will be shown on board. Is there any way to confirm this? My daughter in law would be thrilled.

I've heard the same thing thru a different source. And knowing DCL's history when it comes to what they have on the boat, this fits the timing well.

Here's hoping!

HelenK, :welcome: to our May Dreamers Double Deuce Cruise. :thumbsup2

I'm not sure if it's guaranteed but in the past, whenever a new movie gets released they've featured it on the ships. We are certainly planning on seeing it onboard, and I believe it's in 3d! Can't wait! Your family will LOVE this cruise I'm sure. This will be our first cruise ever!

We are planning a cruise meet on board if you want to join us.

Jim

Given that POTC4 is a Walt Disney Pictures movie, I'm 99% sure they'll have a "PremEar" of it on the boat. In the past they've shown their movies at 12:01 a.m. on the release date. We saw "You Again" at midnight in September, and they actually had the "PremEar" in the bigger Walt Disney Theatre instead of the Buena Vista Theatre where they usually show the movies. This was on the Wonder.

They make a big deal about being the only cruise line in the world able to show first-run movies onboard, so I'd be shocked :scared1: if they didn't show POTC 4. Especially since we'll be IN the Caribbean :rotfl:

:confused3 OK, I'll go next. :confused3

Are there any suggestions as to where we should hold our cruise meet?

If you need to see the FE list just click on the link in my signature.

i think somewhere near a pool or near an area where the children can have fun while we are meeting would be nice

Well, I'm an idiot!!! I made boarding shirts for this cruise just to find out that there will be no fan fare for this cruise. No boarding picture or anything!! :sad2: Oh well, I found out ONE bad thing about doing a B2B!!!

I guess I can always "tip" a CM to take our picture!!! :rolleyes1

I am up for the meeting to be anywhere!!!

I am SOOOOO FREAKIN EXCITED!!!! :dance3:

Just found out we are now flying (thanks Allegiant Air!) and was wondering what kind of rates you have been getting for a 1 day rental? We will be landing at Sanford (SFB). There's just 4 of us so we can get something basic.

Welcome to our Sailing! Absoloutely you can meet up with us on this cruise! The night before, many of us are staying at Country Inns and Suites..... where there will be a casual pool gathering (after dinner hours) and quite possibly a shared birthday cake, as there are many celebrating on this cruise!
Right now we are still trying to figure out where to have the onboard meet happen.... subscribe to this thread, and you can keep up with the "latest"

Welcome rsleleux & maggie1021 !!
I'm sure we'll all get a chance to meet. Ditto what MTmomma said.

Johnny Quest: My vote is also for the outdoor "lounge" area. That looks like a great spot. We could save the Vista Cafe for just in case - heaven forbid - it would be -
dare I say it :scared1::scared1: - raining.......

I second the idea of having a secondary location planned in case it's raining. It was raining the first day of our last cruise, and the meet-and-greet ended up being soggy to say the least. :)
