Hi all

Okay, the word today from DCL via the TA hotline is that the dining rotation on 4-night Dream cruises repeats on nights 3 and 4. Pirate Night, with the same "pirate menu" in all the restaurants, is on night 3.

They of course made sure to tell me that rotations are always "subject to change" and that we won't know for 100% certain until the day we sail

I'm going to call again just before the 90-mark (which is Feb. 21 ) and so if anything changes I'll report back again.

We are going to try for brunch at Palo. I'll be at the computer at 12:001am on the 21st to see if I can snag a ressie. If not, I'll just to wait till we get onboard to see if something is available. Personally, I'd pass on Palo this time, but Don definately wants to go back to their brunch.

Husurdady, and anyone else who may be interested:
Palo Brunch starts at 10:00am and I believe the last reservation time slot is 11:30 or 12:00. The cost is $20 per person. Brunch is only done on the "at sea" day.
My personal choice between brunch and supper, would be brunch.
Last time we did brunch, it included a start off of a complimentary Mimosa or Bellini, as well as plain juices if you liked.
You start off with a tour by your server of the array of "tidbits", that include upper end appetizers, split chilled king crab legs, caviar, other steamed/chilled seafood items, a variety of breads & rolls, one particular delight was a sweet norwegian(I think) bread with real whipped cream, and berries to add on top that was absolutely heavenly. There are also differant marinated vegetables - anti pasta type items, then comes made to order pizzas that Palo is famous for. After that you choose your entree selection, served by your server - items such as eggs benedict, chicken parm, beef tenderloin, and some type of fish dish.
After all of that, there is a dessert buffet that offers a huge selection of mini desserts ranging from tarts, to different flavored mousses, tiny cakes, etc...
one favorite was a little edible chocolate bowl filled with raspberry mousse.
It is definately a venture into a gastronomic delight.

GREAT! Great for the excitement.
And as for my review....I told you wrong,........I once told you this will be our 10th cruise in May, to my dismay, I did a vac. history check and I am sorry to say this will be our 9th cruise. No "free-b" dinner at Palo next time we cruise. Our DD,[age 26] traveling with us this cruise, will go from silver cc status to gold, and we will stay at gold cc status.
It takes 10 cruises ,or I should say; after the 10th cruise to get to platinum Castaway Cay status. And all the perks that come with.

Oh Man, after that explanation of the Palo brunch, I am VERY happy that my TA will be trying to book this for us!!!

Oh, I can see it all now: Naomi and friends doors will be covered entirely with little pictures of mickey, minnie, goofy, etc....... in all sorts of settings and costumes!! We'll be able to pick it out immediately!!!
Hey, I'm not making fun, I've done my own door decorations in the past and may do a few for this trip, just haven't gotten around to it yet. I actually have a couple remaining from my first cruise just to remind me of the good times we had. They make great refrig. door decorations.

Aparently I have a magnent problem.... In my old apartment, I had 19 linear feet (EACH top and bottom cabinents) of metal kitchen cupbords....with 12 foot ceilings. EVERY door, EVERY ONE OF THEM, was covered with magnents......

We all have our little obsessions.
If you haven't been there, you need to visit the "magnet store" in the Westside part of Downtown Disney. They have a whole store of nothing but magnets of anything you can imagine!!! From bugs and butterflies to "food" that looks like the real thing. Some of their stuff is amazing.

Fat girl happy dance! We got our confirmation email that we got our kennedy space center tickets! plus terra and georges WHOLE family (both sides) might be meeting us when we debark, wich means, that we can rent a SMALLER CAR! LOL
