Dream: May 22, 2011

Those of you participating in the FE with small children. Would you object to them recieving a token sized (slightly larger than a quarter) pocket coin? I dont want to upset anyone with giving a little something they either cant have, or cant be put in the "cruise memories" file.....

:thumbsup2 Lysol disinfecting wipes, use to clean all drawers before putting our clothes in them.Take some extra hangers with, we always do. As for the W-pitcher....sounds good-2-me. :) I hope you guys have a GREAT TIME. I told DW and DD that we got neigbors coming with. They could not believe you guys lived so close.:thumbsup2

Thanks for that. I told my family they are excited. The reviews are getting better. The MV must have been a mad house.

Speaking about the "mad-House" on the MV at the port........did anybody read anything on the boards about we were getting asigned certain time we were to come to the port/terminal and board the ship?????...........MTMOMMA, you are sharp to pick up on this, did you hear anything??? HenLady did you hear anything? How about you JIM?

Don, you can be my opening act with a Hawaian shirt singing Don Ho - "Tiny Bubbles".....in my wine..... make me happy..... make me feel fine!:thumbsup2 :rockband:
I'll bring my Mr. Microphone!

Sounds like one-"HO" of an opening act.............do I get $$$. :lmao: :rotfl2:

Husurdady, the only thing I know is what I've read.....apparently when you are able to do online checkin, there is a section where you indicate your arrival time at port. Supposedly they have time blocks and when that time is filled, then you have to move to the next time slot. We will have to see how strictly they adhere to these time assignment. It should be interesting.

I've read basically the same info that Kris has. They ask you for an arrival time online. I guess we will soon see exactly how they will handle "early arrivals". Hopefully this system will help the process flow smoothly.

Jim

WE have 7 pm show to go along with our 815pm supper......how about everyone else, what do you guys have????

I've read that, too, that when you do online check-in you'll have to select an "arrival time," and that earlier ones are hard to come by. It seems they're trying to avoid having masses of people flood the port all at once!

I'm interested to see what people say about how strict they are enforcing the times. We're staying at the port so we can get on the ship as early as possible!!

Who all do we have staying at Country Inn & Suites on May 21?

So far I have:

Henlady
Husurdady
Johnny Quest

MJ-98.......U-being a TA and-all , could you find out about the dinner restaurants for us.What night does the rotation "REPEAT" restaurants?? Is it the third & forth night or the second and third night.I seen on the boards on the MV cruise , it was the 3rd and 4th night, yet someone else that cruised said theirs was the 2nd and 3rd nights. Could you find out for sure for all of us please. Some one who is booking PALO , would love to know. Thanks-AGAIN.

I'll check again ;) When I checked they were planning to repeat nights 2 and 3 (like AP-EG-EG-RP) but they did tell me that with the Dream being a new ship, everything is a bit "up in the air." They did a third-fourth night repeat on the MV and then switched to the second-third. I'm told the second-third rotation works best on 4-night cruises, because Pirate Night can be on night 3. I'll call the TA line tomorrow and report back :thumbsup2

Yea we are hoping to do Palo. If the repeat nights are 2/3, then we will Palo it on night 3. We are rookie cruisers though, so it may be sold out.

dangit thats going to be a pretty big cake for everyone at CI&S! Lol I totally missed what you were referencing...... sorry? This week has been pretty good, nothing blew up, nobody landed on their keister on the ice, stress has increased exponentially with school, but hey, its school, its SUPPOSED to stress you out....
