Anyone else going on this cruise? It will be our first cruise ever! It will be DH, myself, DS10 and DS7. My parents may be coming as well. DH and I are already so excited, but our boys are still in the dark (other than knowing we "might go someday") - we plan to tell them the morning we fly out!

Hi Lorraine, thanks for starting the thread.

We're joining y'all. This is our fourth DCL cruise - first on the Dream, however. We're a family of three -- DH, DS13, and I -- from D.C. We'll be celebrating our son's graduation from grade 8 (I'll be the one crying).

We've never done a shorter cruise but we're combining this trip with four days at Wilderness Lodge. No Disney parks...just Universal Orlando and Discovery Cove. My parents live in Vero Beach, FL so we spend a lot of time at WDW and wanted something different. DS loves Discovery Cove so it's a must-do.

Looking forward to getting to know a few peeps prior to the cruise.

This will be our first Disney cruise, or any cruise for that matter. We're planning on doing SWW (for the 1st time as well) before & after the cruise. It will be myself, DH, DS11, DS9, my in-laws and maybe DD19 & her bf. Looking forward to getting to know our fellow cruisers as well!

Yay! Someone finally started a thread! This is actually my first post on here because my DF and I will be taking this cruise for our honeymoon! We are going to do the Disney Parks and both Universal parks after the cruise as well. This is my second cruise (but my first Disney cruise) and it is the first ever cruise for my fiancé. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Hey Everyone! I just recently went on the Dream in May 2015 and it was so extravagant and fun that I had to book again for the same time next year. This will be my 2nd DCL and I'll be joined by my best friend who has been on 3 DCL's in addition to two DCL newbies. The plan is to slow down this time and not overwhelm ourselves. We are all 30 so you'll probably find us in the bars or on the concierge sun deck.

Hi, this is my first DCL cruise and I am so excited! It will be DH, DS(9), DS(5), MIL, FIL, and me! We are adding two days at WDW after the cruise. We will do one day at MK, and one day at HS for Star Wars weekends. This is my first post on DisBoards, but have been following it for a few months now.

Hi everyone. This will be our 3rd disney cruise (all on the Dream), We (myself, DH, DS7 and DH5) are traveling with my in-laws (Gma, Gpa, SIL, BIL, and niece 6, and nephew 2). We are excited for the changes to the Kids Club!

Hi Everyone, I will be traveling with DS25, DS22, DD21. My husband does not like cruises so it's just me and the kids....looks like we are the oldest of the group so far, but I'm sure we will meet up with some of you around the ship. This my 5th cruise (different cruise line) but I have not been on a ship since before I was married. I'm so excited for my kids to discover the world of cruising. We are Disney nuts and will be at the BW for 5 days before the cruise (husband is a staying in Disney by himself during our cruise) and then at OKW for a few days after. We are celebrating :
1. 30th wedding anniversary
2. DS25 one year anniversary working at Disney
3. DS22 graduating college
4. DD21 turning 21
So excited to experience a Disney cruise!!

This is our first DCL! We are spending 5 nights in DW and our kids are "planning" the trip (fast passes, etc.). What they don't know is that our "departure date" we will be boarding the cruise! Any advice as to what are the things we should do on the ship? Our plan is to hang out at Castaway, but i haven't decided about an excursion on Nassau...any recommendations?

Yahooo we found this thread! This will be our 7th Dis Cruise and 3rd on the Dream. We are an older group too, DH, DSIL, DS (27), DD(25) & DD (19). We had a tough year last year w/the loss of our Ma to cancer last year and we want to bring my DSLIL and show her some of the fun and magic experienced on the Cruises. We will also be taking her to her 1st trip to Disney world for 4 days before the cruise. I cannot wait it's always fun to watch someone seeing Disney in action for the first time.

Hi everyone! This will be our 2nd Disney Cruise! We went on our honeymoon on the Fantasy and will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary on this cruise! We are also going to WDW for 5 days after the cruise is over.
