Dream!!! July 18, 2012.....

Kids are driving me crazy lol.

44. Dad DS 13 twin DD 11 headed for the boat

In Orlando airport...I miss the cruise already!!!!!
Sorry we didn't make it to the meet!
Saw a few doors with magnets that I guessed were DISers...and a big group with t-shirts with the Mickey head iron-ons that look like ones from the creative DISigns!
Had a blast & booked another one!!

In Airport waiting for flight home :( Had a great time and hopr everyone else did as well - gonna be tough after 9 nights on the Dream for us to get back into the day-to-day routine. Safe travels all.

The best vacation ever. Thankfully we were able to check into our room at WL early this morning.

How's everyone adjusting to real-life after the cruise?? I miss it so much!!

Had some magnets on our door....had fewer magnets left at the end... :(

We had early dining...worked well for us!
What about you guys? Did you like your servers? We loved ours! :)

We did the harbor tour in Nassau....enjoyed it!!
Went to the cooking class, the towel folding class and one of the animation classes...fun!

Kids didn't do the kids' clubs...at all. We had to cancel our Palo brunch :(

Loved CC... Had a blast and returned to the ship after lunch.

Please share any memories, if you want to...!

My DD and I had a wonderful time. We were sad to see it end. Our magnets survived and we really enjoyed the towel animals each evening.

We also had early dining and it worked out pretty well. We dined with a family of five and enjoyed the company. Our servers were fantastic. When I get a chance I will post a picture of our table and servers.

We did the Sea and See Tour in Nassau. If we go again, I think we will stay on the ship. The tour was actually quite boring.

My daughter who is 13 loved Edge but found out on the last night that she could have gone to Vibe. She was happy though. She also got up to sing "Hey Jude" during family karaoke in the D Lounge. I was so proud of her. I wish I had thought of video taping her for the memory.

CC was awesome. We went bike riding, did the Sting Ray Adventure and snorkeled. I didn't think my daughter would like to snorkel but she absolutely loved it. She did get into a little trouble when the tube she was riding on sent her on a wild ride far from the shore but the lifeguard was kind enough to tow her in.

We did three nights at DW after the cruise. Next Tim we do DW before. Or take a longer cruise. These are memories hat will last a lifetime. Our best vacation ever!!!

mmgrdg & ashper99 -
Great to hear from yas and so glad you both had great experieinces, especially ashper99 DD enjoying everything. Even after multiple cruises with DCL and great experiences we seem to enjoy each one more than the ones before. We were not planning on doing another cruise for a couple of years but have already booked a 7 night on the Fantasy for June 2013.

We had second seating which we like and all the CMs were way above and beyond anything we had in the past, and they were great in the past. The Dream crew was out of this world and doing the B2B / 9 nights we got to know so manny of them on more of a personal level.

mmgrdg - sorry ya missed Palo Brunch. We did Palo dinner and our server Marco was just over the top.

Nassau we just hit the straw market and hit Senor Frogs for lunch and basically a couple hour "party" - easier to do with older kids.

CC we had a cabana both days so took full advantage of all that goes with that plus me and DS did the jet skis.

We still miss it  and the first week back was just difficult after 9 days of DCL pampering, great service, food, shows and being able to spend so much family time together.

Happy future sailings!

We were on deck 9. Looking at one of the 5e balconies for next time...
budamacdvcr--I can't even imagine how amazing a b2b must have been!!!!!!! Did you enjoy your concierge room(s)? Is it similar to club level in a deluxe resort? 7 nights on the fantasy...nice!!!!

Ashper99--did u do the morning sea&see tour? My dh and ds did that (well, somehow they forgot to get on the bus tour...) but did the underwater boat thing. The harbor tour dd and I did was the same narrated boat that took the guys to the underwater boat. If you did the one that met at 9:45 in 687, then we were there too!!!!!
Glad your dd liked the edge...my dd wouldn't even go check it out. :(
We love the WL too and will prob spend 2 nights there after our next cruise.... !!

We probably has the most perfect weather ever for a cruise!!!!

Hi everyone!!! So glad everyone enjoyed the cruise. I miss it more & more everyday. I can't wait to go back. The next time will be 7 days or more. 4 days were not enough.

My daughter & I did the dolphin encounter. We had so much fun. The girls enjoyed the lab & club. They didn't ever get off the boat at Castaway Cay. They stayed in the club while it was open house. My 2yrs old thought her nursery was her own little club:rotfl2:. No one wanted to leave when we would come for them.

Mmgrdg - We was on the 9th floor too. We were in 9103. I think we pass your door. Plus, Zita was our server too. My 2yrs old loved her. We also had Dimtri and Berney.

Yes, concierge is like hotel club level, but a notch up becasue it is Disney concierge. This was our second summer on the Dream in concierge and we booked this again for the Fantasy next summer as DD is bringing her BF so it will basically be 5 adults. I do not want anyone to take it as bragging or anything, but the perks and the attentive service from the concierge staff is going to make it tough for us to not sail concierge :dance3:

A very cool thing about the b2b was it was we were back on the ship by 10:30 for the second leg and were the only guests on the ship. We were able to get great pictures of the ship like the Atrium and pools totally empty and got to see a rehersal of the Pirate Night show pirate:

Cheers and if any of you have specific questions about concierge and what the difference is, other than cost, more than willing to answer any questions. We had fun as we had the crew announce us as the "outtamoney" family when we boarded ;)

Omg, the outtamoney family...I love it!!!!!!!!!

Will let you know if I think of any questions abt concierge, although would prob only be able to do it if we were lucky & could upgrade at the port. :)

Did you do the dolphin thing at blue lagoon? We were going to and ended up canceling it a few weeks before the cruise. Glad you liked it! Lol abt your 2 year old in her own private club! :)

My door just had different colored Mickey heads on it...nothing with writing or names or anything.
:)

I wish I was on the ship right now!!!!!!!!

Yes we did the 9:45 boat. The bus tour wasn't all that exciting, so they didn't miss much. 4 nights was not enough. I could have spent two more weeks. Hopefully we can find a good deal for the Alaska cruise next August.

We were thinking about Alaska....actually had it booked for this summer instead of the Bahamas, but the flights were so expensive! Would love to do that sometime though!!
