Dream Job at WDW

Some sort of theme designer/imagineer would be awesome however if I was to work at an attraction then anything to do with the classic Haunted Mansion and I may become the extra haunt who makes the grand total to 1000 happy ghosts. The other attraction would be Pirates of the Caribbean where I become part of the crew or becoming rather merry in Tortuga.

My absolute dream would be working in the vaults (I am a library student) but more realistically working in the Bippidi Boppidi Boutique helping the little ones transform into princesses and pirates

I also saw a job posting for like franchise management and development. Teaming with imagineers to form my ideas.

Edit: Playing Snow White would also be a dream. or really any face character

My first pick would be working at resort. We are DVC owners, amd absolutely love OKW. It seems to me like that resort has a diehard following. We always enjoy seeing the cast/guest interaction there because many guests and CM's know each other from past trips. I would also like to answer animal questions on the trail's in AK. Our youngest is really inquisitive, and I love the time the CM's invest in answering his questions. It adds such a deeper, educational layer to that park.

Trombone or Tuba Player in the Main Street Philharmonic. Plausible given that I have a Degree in Trombone. But so few spots for that specific job.

Coincidently, I've talked to one of the trombone players from Main Street Philharmonic (he was previously with some other bands at WDW) over the years, Keith [last name escapes me] about how he got his job. As you'd expect, he loves it!

My dream job got eliminated. There used to be, on the Living with the Land boat ride, someone who sat in front giving the spiel, instead of the prerecorded spiel. For years that was my dream. After that job went, I wanted to drive a float in the Jammin Jungle Parade at Animal Kingdom, so of course, they did away with that parade. Now I want to be the announcer of the vet procedures in Rafiki's Planet Watch, or work somewhere in that building. So I hope that building doesn't get eliminated now!

My dream job would be to be one of the Dapper Dans! I just think it would be so much fun to sing in a barber shop quartet and tell corny jokes all day! Disney needs to start the Dapper Danis! I do corrosion mitigation for a local natural gas company. We keep steel gas mains from rusting and leaking. I'd like to work for Reedy Creek on the gas infrastructure at WDW.

I want to work with either the GF's or BW's pastry chefs. While I currently work in the financial industry, one of my hobbies is custom cakes ... favorite aspect being sculpting edible topper and accent decor. It wouldn't pay the bills right now, but it would be something fun in retirement. While my cake work isn't entirely Disney, I already have a mini portfolio of edible Disney figures and themes, and it keeps growing with every bday and special event (just did dragon Maleficent last week)...

I'll spare you all of the pics of my edible creations, but the edible Zero I made for a Nightmare Before Christmas cake a few years ago is one of my faves...

So, who knows...maybe this little hobby of mine could become a dream job at Disney...one day.

Alternately, I'd like to sing with the Voices of Liberty. I sang with the city's symphony (another side gig) before the kids came along and started college as a voice performance major, so it's not that much of a long shot either.

I'd love to be a coordinator with the costumed actors (since I'm 5'1" and will never have a chance to be one...unless they're short a seventh dwarf or something lol), and coming up with new and exciting character dining events and locations. There will always be a demand for character dining and meet and greets, and I think some characters are just more heavily used than others. You can meet Cinderella, Aurora and Snow White at multiple locations and multiple parks, while Merida, Tiana, and Mulan are under-used. Tiana is so overdue for character dining, and with her backstory it would be such an easy thing to pull off, come on Disney! As much as I love Lady and the Tramp, Tony's Town Square is critically panned and I don't see them fixing it anytime soon- it's prime Magic Kingdom/Main Street location, why not put Tiana's Place in there? Or an Aladdin/Jasmine/Genie dining event over at the Moroccan pavilion, and Mulan/Mushu/Li Shang in the China pavilion, you get the idea. Character dining will always be in demand, utilizing these popular characters in inventive ways not only creates a better chance for each kid to take part in a character dining event during their Disney vacation, but it's also creates an opportunity for less popular restaurant locations and cuisines to gain more patrons. And some are just obvious no-brainers: why on earth is Belle not at Be Our Guest, and Anna and Elsa aren't the greeters at Akershus?!

I would love to be VP of Pixie Dust distribution. I would make sure that all departments are sprinkling as much as they possibly can. I would also surprise unsuspecting people with Disney vacations.... *sigh* Wouldn't that be nice?

I always thought I'd like to work behind the scenes doing store displays. Barring that, I'd like for my sole job to be walking around picking up stray bits of littler with those grabby things and helping people out who'd come up to me.
