Dream Holiday

Hello everyone,

OK then we all know that WDW is top of the pops for holidays. But! If there was no WDW, where would you go for your Dream Holiday??

Mine would be the West Coast of America, with a trip taking in LA, San Fransisco and Vegas. Ideally I would spend 5-7 days in each of the above and then day trips in between (or en route) to the Grand Canyon, San Diego etc. Naturally a trip to a certain attraction in Anaheim would be on the cards too


Obsessed? Moi?!!!


Where would you all go and why?

BC (before children) DH and I always talked about doing a 4 week - drving right across the USA from Californai to New England, I think that would still be classed as our dream holiday - maybe in a couple of years when the kids are a bit older!!!
I'd also like to visit Hawaii!!

Miffy I did your dream holiday in 2001 and it was wonderful, we spent 7 nights in LA, 4 in Las Vegas and had a trip to Grand Canyon and then 4 nights in San Francisco.

My dream holiday would be a tour of Australia.

For me it has to be LA,San Francisco and Las Vegas again.
How about Disney land LA,Toyko or Paris.I expect thats cheating LOL.
Japan is somewhere I'd like to see one day as well.

Mmm no Disney !!!!

I would love to tour around America and even fancy Canada. Australia would be nice too.....but no Disney ...I may be too depressed to holiday LOL

One of them we've already done to The Maldives. We've wnted to go there for about 10 years and finally got around to it in May. The next dream is to the Great Barrier Reef and we're doing that in 2 years. Until then, we'll just have to "make do" with WDW!!!!!

These are a little tame for a dream holiday. Mine would have to be;

Taking a camper van from the East to West coast of Canada/USA.
Flying from the US to Costa Rica and travelling around South and Central America.
A south Pacific Atoll or two.
Cycling through New Zealand
Taking a campervan around Oz, including visits to Ayers Rock and the Grwat Barrier Reef.
Overland journey from Singapore to include Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Burma, Nepal, Tibet, China;
Goa.
Sri Lanka.
South Afirica (blame Vernon for this one)
Finally though Italy, Croatia, Austria, Holland, France, etc etc

So that's 3 or 4 years out of my life. THAT'S a dream holiday.
