Dream Concierge

yes you can get to the lounge from both sides.

i just called the main number for passes. had to pay right then. i only got passes for one day.

trip is right around the corner. i'm praying for good weather!

Thank you very much! I just tried to call DVC Cruise (since "paid" with points) and it's a 25 minute wait.
On way to my ds's HS baseball game. I'm going to call from the car and hope I get through before it's gone.

I also asked you a question on your Post Trip Report (which is great by the way).
Thanks so much!

You can only buy the weekly passes once onboard. There will be a Senses rep or two in the lounge when you get there.

An hour on hold and the canin I wanted to seitch to is gone. Someone granbed it.

Also if I see a cabin again should I do a mock booking and hold it. Would DVC Cruise people be able to call Disney and take it off my hold?

Thank you.

Thank you. I am going to put with my concierge requests that we would like two passes. They can do if hey need to wait when we board.

concierge should be able to do it, they will ask that you pay for them up front. so i just gave them a CC #

which cabin did you want? 12000 will only show up if the royals don't want it. when i called about it (when it had not shown up on the site yet) they pretended like it wasn't showing up (even though it was just being held back)

This happened to me as well when I tried switching to concierge. Anytime that you see that the room you want is available, don't click on it! If you do, and don't follow through with the purchase the system holds it for 30 minutes before it shows as available again. I called the travel agent or Disney and told them I want to upgrade and they would tell me that it was not available. I was like yes because it's in my cart right now. Just keep checking.

I'm on the opposite side, almost directly in front of the concierge lounge. Would you stay where you are or move to 12504?

Are you able to get in the lounge from both sides of the ship?

What is the only difference? Two tvs? That wouldn't be a concern for me.
Thank you.

If I didn't have a bump-out and I were on the port side, I'd definitely move over to 12504. That room is wonderful.

I was availabl when I called and the wait time said 17 minutes. By the time Disney came on, an hour later, it was gone.

Thanks. I did not click on it and wonderednif I should have but guess not. So anniying I had an hour wait. That just shouldnt be especially when he recording says 17 minutes.

What are the differences between 12000 and 12504? I know the placement of the room and the super verandah on 12000 and double doors on 12000. But what makes 12504 so special?

12504 is starboard and 12000 straight forward, 12000 can be windy 12504 has more protection and a view of castaway cay.

12000 is a one bedroom, 12504 is a family deluxe. I think what everyone is saying is that 12504 is decorated differently from the other family deluxe rooms in concierge, that it is decorated like the royal it connects and that there are 2 tvs (one at the end of the bed and one in front of the couch). I've never seen pics of it so I don't know what exactly the "decor" difference is

Thank you. I should have remembered the 12000 is a one bedroom. Also, is the Dream different than the Fantasy? We were in a V concierge on the Fantasy and had 2 TVs. One large one on the wall at the foot of the bed and one over by the couch. Does the Dream traditionally only have 1 in the V rooms?

from what i've read, the dream DOES NOT have 2 tvs in the V rooms except for those connected to the the royal suites.

Random info, not a complaint: shoreside concierge turned down my request for lounger style chairs for our verandah, saying there isn't enough room. This is a bump out cabin but maybe it's not bumpy enough.

Ask concierge once you get on the ship. They'll be more aware of what is and isn't enough room.

This is correct. Our Dream room (12022) did *not* have an extra TV.

Thanks. I feel like I've read conflicting reports on this but for the life of me couldn't say where I read 'em. :) But I figured the info may be suspect.

Shoreside is pretty good, and they get most things right, but they're not really hands-on, so they don't really know what exceptions can, or will, be made.
