when we sailed on Wonder last year my wife and I enjoyed brunch at Palo on our sea day.

We are sailing later this year on Dream and would like to do the same. Which restaurant has the brunch? Remy or Palo? And if both, which is better?

Thanks! Trying to make our 15th wedding anniversary special.

I've only done Palo, and that's always on my "to do" list. Remy is too costly for us, so I don't see us doing that. I do know that while Palo has the buffet (lots and lots to choose from), Remy is a set menu/courses.

I totally agree! IMO, Palo brunch is not to be missed. I have not done Remy though. It seems a little too funky for my tastes as I'm a simple eater.

I enjoy both brunch experiences very much, but they aren't really all that similar to each other. Palo is more casual, yourseated at your table in your server takes care of beverages, and any special order items such as chicken Parmesan or eggs Benedict. There are also a wide variety of choices laid out in a beautiful buffet style. Although I think Palo in the evening can be very romantic, I don't find their brunch particularly so. Remy is a sit down multiple set course plated meal. However, if you have food allergies, or intolerances, the chef will work with you to create a menu that works with your needs. They also offer vegetarian and vegan options. I recommend doing it with the champagne parings, if you drink champagne. The brunch items are delicious, creative, and incredibly well presented. The service at Remy is also outstanding. Both experiences are special meals, but for a more romantic meal I guess I would lean towards Remy.

We've done both. They are really ver different experiences and I wouldn't call one "better" than the other. Palo brunch has a great following with many people appreciate for the price, quantity and quality of the food along with a more relaxed atmosphere. Remy Brunch doesn't get as large a group of followers, perhaps because of the higher price and a "stuffy" atmosphere.

You might want to look at the two reviews I did for FoodieTales a few years back. Some things have changed but they are still a pretty accurate reflection of the two experiences. Just click on the link in my Sig below.
