Yes the FE holds the small gift or gifts. If you need ideas for gifts you can search the Dis boards. I made and bought age appropriate gifts for kids and i also made CD's for my last group. I put some cool things that adults could use in the Gift bags also. Some people can be really creative. You can also buy themed gifts from the $ store.

No worry, if it's not a fish, then it will be something else (for their "mail" deliveries) and we will attach our extenders to "it". We will just change a name of the game.

That is a good ? I just asked in my other group. I have never heard of the yankee gift swap either?
I also wanted to tell you that alot of people bought gifts from the area they lived in. Such as post cards, pencils or candy. Something that represented where they were from. I thought that was a sweet idea. I did give post cards because i live in the Poconos and we have great pc pictures of all the great waterfalls etc.. in the area. i hope this helps a little more with gift ideas. Crystal~

Hi all! Sorry to say that we are cancelling this booking--we changed it to the 4/17 sailing that just opened up to us. We were unable to book it at first due to too many kids my DS age. Also DS was very upset that he would be missing 3 days of school . He's starting middle school and will have 4 different teachers and he's afraid there will be too much work to make up. Can't argue with that thinking--as a matter of fact, it makes me pretty proud of him . So, have a great cruise and I'll be seeing some of you 4/17!!!! Take care.

Hi all! Sorry to say that we are cancelling this booking--we changed it to the 4/17 sailing that just opened up to us. We were unable to book it at first due to too many kids my DS age. Not to sound "dumb" but, I am at a total loss with all of this. This is my first time cruising and wow...I am a little overwhelmed with this. Thanks to anyone who can explained any and all of this..

We have sailed with DCL twice, but a lot of things are NEW to us too . That is what I can help you with:

1. We need ideas (and solutions) for our cruise name. Please post your ideas and/or comment on the ones posted by others.
2. For FE exchange detailed explanation, please refer to post by Deb T. (#109 on 4/17/11 thread). Here is the link:

3. TECHJPM made a spread sheet to keep us organized. To be able to fill in information, you need to PM him your email and he will add you so that you would be able to type in your group info.

I have a ? for all of you. How did you know what day to book the Comfort Inn? How do you know when we will be their lol? We are a family of 5 and would love to take one of you up on this offer of added one of us to your room . If we can book the room but don't know when to book it for. You guys are such great planners lol.

thus, you make your reservation for April 15th. You have to pay for your taxi to and from($4 per person) and you can check in/check out at the same time. They give you a paper room key and then you take to the towel hut at Atlantis and get the bracelets. They did stop us coming out of the main area of Atlantis before getting into the pool area to see our room key. Comfort suites knows what people are doing, they are just happy to get the money. It was very quick and easy for us. There are alot of ships in port this time, so I am not sure if that will make a difference or not.

another Nassau option is Blue Lagoon. They have a beach day, dolphin encounter, sea lion encounter and people say the catamaran ride to it is really neat seeing all the large estates and yachts along the way.

We are back from Va Beach, had a wonderful relaxing time there.

Crystal, our friends (with 9yo) were on a waiting list for a couple of weeks and then got a call from their TA and managed to book both 4/17 and 4/21 sailings b2b.

9 more months before our cruise = people change their plans. If you want to add/change to 4/17 sailing find a good TA (or maybe call DCL directly) and put your names on a waiting list(s). I think you have a chance! We are on 4/14 and 4/17 and we would love it if you join us on both

Thanks. It has been very difficult. I keep reminding myself how blessed I was to have her for so long. It is really hard. If we do Atlantis twice or for sure on this cruise, my offer to add a person is there too. Hopefully I will make a decision on it soon as I am such an obsessive planner, I hate to leave things hanging,

As much as I want our Dream trip to get here, I wish summer would slow down. I really love having the kids home with me. We went to Amish country yesterday and saw a fantastic outdoor play last evening with indians and such. Really neat.

Still obsessing about the dream. Worried about how busy Atlantis is going to be on this cruise with 16,000 other passengers in port. I think we are spoiled by usually doing our disney trips off season. Thinking blue lagoon might be less busy as they only have so many spots and that is it... whereas Atlantis has it's own customers staying there, those at CS, the cruise ships, plus any day passes. Decisions, decisions...... can't seem to get a clear picture in my mind yet. Got lots of time to figure it out I guess.

I just talked to someone about switching our April 10th to the 17th. As of now nothing . We need two rooms (side by side) ,also i was informed that if we do switch the price is alot more exspensive. Wondering was this true for you?? Crystal~
