Dream 7/5/11 - fish extender list

.DH saw it and I think he is beginning to come around to the whole FE thing as well - exp. since I am the one doing all the work for the gifts!! :

Too funny Bette! My husband is coming around now too - and also yes, since I'm the one making all the FE gifts! Ha!

Also, I came up with too many fun ideas, so luckily my brother is in the FE exchange too in another cabin and not so creative so one of the ideas I had will be what he will do as his gift (read: what he will probably come over to help with then grab a beer with my husband and I'll end up doing!) That's okay, I love crafts! So excited to get a move on it. Only 2 months away! I can't believe it. Exactly 2 months from today we'll be setting sail!!! YEah!!!

My parents are in another cabin, and my mom is already hard at work on her FE gifts too! So fun!

The mom in me says you've. Given them ample oppotunity and already closed the list. Just delete them now is okay with me. Can't wait to cruise!

Either way is fine with me...but waiting until the end of the week will give them one LAST chance to join in on the fun!
We were still GTY as of last night...haven't checked yet this morning. I hope this isn't causing anyone any problems...I promise to announce our room # as soon as it is posted!
Is anyone doing a pre-trip report? I would love to read about it if you are! I am so excited about this cruise!! Less than 2 months...can you believe it?!?!!

it is on the corner of where the halls meet/turn

we are in two connecting cabins and i am wondering if i should move my FE to cabin 9057 so it isnt more tempting to take things as it will be in a "weird" spot being on the corner like that.

what do you think? would be easy to change the 9055 to 9057?

oh and I was informed by my 18 year old daugther she much preferes PIRATES to tinkerbell, so if you can change that and if someone has already started tinkerbell that is perfectly fine. sorry for all the confusion we are causing!

Tinkerbell/Pirate change noted for my gifts for you guys!
And I don't think it matters what you officially list as your cabin with the FE. There are only 16 on the boat, and if it's not on door 9055, but we see your names on the FE on door 9057, we'll figure it out! Just wait til you get there to see which door will work best!

i have been looking at the fish extenders post and i am so torn as to either buy a really nice one, or make one out of something i already own, BUT I feel intimated to not put up one that is as good as some of the ones you guys have....

dont want my FE looking all dorky and all.

I was going to buy the fish extenders, but then I thought that it would save money to just make my own, plus the girls could have fun and build excitement in preparing for the cruise. Instead, I have spent more money on supplies to make the extender than it would have been to buy one. as I am now working on our second attempt at the extender, as the first one was all crooked.

At this rate, I will be hanging plastic bags on our fishies with our names in Sharpie. Codyboy, you can't get much more dorky than my plastic bags!

yah, that is my concern, i'll spend more trying to make something than just buying it, but i dont care for the one's on sale at Ebay/Esty right now...hmmm. I have seen some creative ideas out of shirts and bags and such, but since i am not too good at sewing some look beyond my means.

well, eventually i'll come up with SOMETHING i hope, or yes we can be the bag ladies, LOL HA HA HA
