on another note: do you get the same thing for every cabin or is it okay to get same type of item but maybe different pattern or color?

I think closing it the sooner the better too ... I'm for May 1st... I'm going to be making personalized things and that will take longer. Can't wait!

Ellen, would you mind adding a column/row to the spreadsheet with each person's first name and favorite character ? I'll need to know that for our gifts.

Is everyone willing to provide names and favorite characters for the list? If you would prefer not to provide names for privacy, would you at least provide favorite characters? That would help me out with our gifts!
Perhaps we can privately message that info to Ellen, or to me and I can give Ellen a final list, and she can email out the spreadsheet so we don't have to worry about names of the families being posted on the web for anyone to see? Ideas?

either way is okay. I am putting together the same gift bag for every cabin. If you want to mix up the patterns or colors using the same items, that's okay. If you want to get different items for different cabins that's okay too.

the whole idea is really about the fun of exchanging gifts. no one will compare what one gets to what anyone else gets. it's just so great to come back to your cabin and see a bulge in the FE pockets.

Hi Marcy,

I can definitely incorporate that into the FE list on page one. if it looks too messy, i'll put it on the spreadsheet.

I don't have a problem making that info available publicly. I would think most others wouldn't either. but, if someone wants to keep it private, we can do it thru PMs or emails.

I'll work on the spreadsheet probably in the next couple of days. I'll even see if i can add deckplans with cabins circled.

Oh marhs, this sounds fun!

I won't list first names, since one of the "daughters" I am bringing isn't actually mine, and her mom is nervous about her name being out in the world, so I will just list us by first initials, if that is ok. This is how our fish extenders will be, also.

7552 - J - male, adult - Baloo
K - female, adult - Miss Bianca (Rescuers) or Sleeping Beauty

7554 - A - female, adult (21 after cruise) - any Disney insect, or Eeyore
E - female, teen (16 just before cruise) - Belle
R - female, teen (16) - Ariel

I of course jumped the gun, and the girls and I made our gifts already. We are now going to be two cabins short and will have to make more gifts. We did make extra gifts for ourselves, because we all liked what we made, but no one wants to give up what they already made, so there I go, back to Michael's. Not that anyone is complaining, because we spent lots of time talking about the cruise while we were working hard on those gifts, so looks like it will be time for more talking while we work. Really, who ever gets tired of talking about Disney?

I just hope you all like what we made as much as we like them!

i just read the other thread, and if I get something useful for the first day of cruise i could deliver it early?

and if i join could I just join my kids cabin, I think they would love stuff, and easier on the rest of the group, too.

They are in cabin 9055, DS (15) DD (18), even though she will just have turned 18, she is still a kid at heart!

Last summer I had memory books made and was able to hand them out on the first night. It was hectic, but I managed to get it done.
I'm planning on something every night. Can't wait!

Sounds like everyone has something exciting planned ... or are thinking of what to plan. This really makes the cruise more fun before we even go!

Sorry, I was trying to make it eaiser on the group since we signed up at the last minute by not putting both our cabins on the list, we have 2

connecting cabins with four total people.

Also, my 15 yr. old son is not a fan of monogrammed stuff,, therefore, I thought i would have my name on somethng if it was monogramemed, if

it's a problem them remove my son from the cabin, and put my name and change it to 2 adults . i know my 15 year old son would not use

monogrammed things, but might enjoy other types of gifts. either way if you put 2 adults in the cabin that works too.
