Dream 7/5/11 - fish extender list

By my count which could be wrong.
We have 27 adults, 10 boys and 12 girls not inlcuding the nonconfirmed cabins.

I think it might be easier to split these but I'm open for ideas. I also countted 16 cabins not 19 as one post suggested but I need some help checking.

Since it's a small # of cabins and we are doing a cabin gift I have already made ours I'm going to give to the whole group. (and have extras should more add).

I can see though if you are doing individual gifts then it might be best to split.

I had to make mine because I kept changing my mind and driving my dd nuts with look at this and look at that, what about this and what about that. I knew if I actually started spending the $ on something I would have to stop changing my mind. It worked. I'm really happy with what I made and I'm not crafty at all. I'm an idea person. Exectution is usually not my thing. All I have left to do is find something to put them in. Oooooohhh more decisions!!!! That should give me something to do for the next 80 something days

I think 16 is small but that is only because I have read threads where the list gets to be 50+. That might be on longer cruises though. 16 for our length cruise might be large? This is my first time also so I really have no clue and am just going with the flow

eta: I decided to go with a cabin gift just to reduce the stress of what to give to boys/girls and what gift for what age. Too much to think about for me.

we have 16 confirmed cabins. I don't think it's a large group. I'm hoping the unconfirmed contact me soon.

i'm also doing a gift for each cabin. there will be a few things in my gift bag. i find it's easier this way.

originally I mentioned closing the list the beginning of june. if everyone wants to close it sooner just let me know. maybe some people need more time to get their gifts together.

I will be putting everything in one bag. some people like to split their cabin gifts up and deliver them on different days. It's totally up to you in terms of what you want to do.

16 cabins is definitely a small number. We were on one cruise with 30+ cabins. We split our delivery up into 2 days (7 day cruise).

Hey ejw/Ellen, I was just on the list of confirmed rooms in the exchange and noticed the cabin number for one of our rooms was listed incorrectly!

The room with 2A is 7552, not 7225. While the person in 7225 would probably be thrilled to receive little gifts, and will most likely then walk off the cruise thinking Disney is just amazing, I am just a bit too selfish to let that happen!

Hi everyone! Well, it's getting closer!!!
So, is the final count 16 cabins? Will we have a final list so we can be sure we know ages/children/adults etc... to personalize the gifts if we want?
Can't wait!
I'd love to know when we will have a final closed list so I can start asking some questions of you all to find out favorite characters, etc.. of the kids so I can personalize their gifts!

hey everyone, don't worry about the spreadsheet. i will do one after we officially close the list but if anyone needs it sooner just let me know and I'll work on it this week.

...and speaking about closing the list.....what works best for everyone????
I still have a few unconfirmed cabins.

do you want to close the list on may 1st to any newcomers but keep it open to the unconfirmed for a week or two after that?

and if i join could I just join my kids cabin, I think they would love stuff, and easier on the rest of the group, too.

They are in cabin 9055, DS (15) DD (18), even though she will just have turned 18, she is still a kid at heart!

Codyboy, i added your kids cabin to the list. I put your DD as an adult since she will be 18. This might dictate the type of gifts she gets. If you want to list her as a child, let me know and I will change it.

also, gifts can be given out on any day. I usually put a label on the gift bag with the recipient's name and my name.
