Dream 5-Night March 4, 2012

Welcome aboard!! We had dinner at Palo on our last cruise(4night), we chose to do it on the repeat dinner. I think it was Pirate Night. Your dining rotation on the 5night is kind of confusing. It could be something like AP,EG,EG,RP,AP soo....they repeat the 2nd night on the 3rd and the 1st on the 5th. I'm pretty sure the 2nd night is Pirate Night and the Dress-up night is the 3rd night. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I've already had to white-out my Passporter. Were going to do Brunch this time for some reason we both liked it better. Don't get me wrong Dinner at Palo was very nice, great food:). But afterward we both said next time we'd preferr the Brunch. If you haven't tried that you need to. :thumbsup2, Hope I helped some.
The brunch may be a better idea. Thank you.

Paid in full since last week :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Yay! That's great!
We've just added days at wdw before and after so we have a while before we're free and clear!
I notice you have 2 11-year-old daughters. Do you think they may be interested in chatting online with my daughter nearer the time? She's pretty keen to connect with some tweens before we go.

So they should be good by the cruise to talk with the other at the kids club!

My daughter Esme did wonder that - she was with me while I wrote the last message:)
She's in her 6th year of French Immersion. It might be enough that they can muddle through between them!;)

Wow! That would be very nice!:yay: This trip is for the girls, so they could practice what they will have learn so far! They will speak, think and dream in english from January 25th to June 21st!!!

They should be able to understand one and other!!! And I forgot, we have a friend who's coming with us, with a girl that age also doing her too the english immersion!!! So my girls names are Laurie and Fanny, and the other girl is also named Laurie!!!!

That will be fun! And a nice trip for them to practice their skills:goodvibes
We have had a few trips to Quebec City over the years for Esme to practice. Because I don't speak French she's taken some liberties! While we were there last she got into a conversation with a shop owner and they were having a big laugh about something. After we came out I asked her to translate what they were talking about. She said she'd told the owner not to talk to me because I would try and speak some French and I was totally embarrassing! :rolleyes1

What part of Canada are your from?:)

New Brunswick. We are originally from the UK. Moved here with work 10 years ago, intending to try it for a couple of years and here we still are! It's hard to move once the kids are settled in school and actually it's a wonderful place to live. As long as you take time to see the rest of the world:)

Hi Everyone :goodvibes
Was just wondering if anyone was thinking of getting dressed up for pirate night?
I was thinking about scoping out the stores after halloween for some good accessories. Girls have costumes already planned and really want us to get dressed up too! Strangely my husband seems really up for it!pirate: I have a feeling he just wants to see me in a pirate wench outfit!

My husband has a jack sparrow costume he wore a few years ago. Bought it from Disney Store. He looks so good, I am hoping to convince him to wear it. Kids have scarves I made out of black material that I put Jolly Roger on it. Eye patches and make up and we got our motley crew!

We'll definitely be dressing up. :thumbsup2

Is anyone else doing days before or after in the parks?
Heard some sad news this morning. Big thunder mountain will be closed!:scared1:
We are very sad about this. It's our favorite ride and our youngest wouldn't ride it last time. Now we've watched the ride on YouTube and she's all ready to ride, it won't be an option. Sigh.
Never mind. There's lots more to do!

We are spending the night before the cruise at the Bay Lake Towers, our group of 13 is having diner at Ohana that night.

No plans to go into the park, just want to relax:hippie:
