I just booked this cruise for my daughter and I as a reunion trip with some of my closest friends! We have three cabins so far, and I'm so excited! We've done 7 Disney cruises, but this is our first Dream cruise!

We just got off of the 7-Night Wonder cruise to Jamaica, and I couldn't wait, so I used my place-holder cruise I was saving for Alaska to my birthday weekend!

So excited!

I would love to be part of the fish extender list this time, but don't have a room number yet since I booked GTY.

We took our 2 boys on the Big Red Boat 25 years ago (before Disney had their own Cruiseline) and are now taking those same boys, their wives and 6 grandchildren (13,7,7,6,5,and 3) on this cruise! None of them have ever been on a cruise or even flown on a plane!!

We are presenting the kids with a "Golden Ticket" (I found on etsy.com) on Christmas morning. Each one has a custom scratchoff area inside where we will put a clue. Once all 6 kids have scratched off their tickets, they'll know!! We will be cruising in 3 WEEKS!

I know nothing about fish extenders, but it looks like a lot of fun. But I have a few questions:
If you join the group, are you supposed to get something for every person in the group?
Do you put your name on the gift?
Do you just do one per person per cruise?
My girls LOVE art. Can we make things to put in them?

Is there anything else we need to know?

This is also my first time doing a fish extender. Earlier in this thread someone posted about what a fish extender is. Here is my understanding.

1. You do not have to get something for every person. You can do a gift for everyone in the room.
2. It is up to you whether or not you want to put your name on it.
3. The gift is up to you. Most of the examples I have seen each room gives a gift to every other room. Like I said above it can be an individual gift for everyone or just one gift for the entire room.
