Is the photo dark? I know sometimes if the lighting in the photo is too dark they'll reject it.

As long as your passports are approved, there’s no need to stress. The worst case scenario is that your husband will need to have a photo taken at the port, which will take just a few minutes at most. I know it would be reassuring to see that all pictures are approved, but it is no big deal if the selfies aren’t approved in advance.

Exactly. The photo we submitted for my husband wasn't accepted, so they took another one at check in at the port. No sweat.

Great News! After submitting the original photo All passports and selfie photos are approved as of this afternoon! Whew! Big sigh of relief. But good to know we could still have a photo taken at the port. Thank you Everyone!

I received a 'resubmit passport' email. I send the same original picture but let it go sideways because when I rotated the picture it cut the top and bottom off. It was approved sideways within an hour.
