Hi everyone! I'm a long time lurker but have not ventured over to this board recently. I just want to say what a terrific job everyone does here!! All of these ideas are amazing!

My question is about drawstring backpacks. I am wondering if anyone has ever had these printed? I need about 15 for my family reunion in June. I am wondering if anyone knows of a website where I could order these to be printed?

On the other hand, does anyone have any idea of how to make these myself? I assume that Iron-Ons would not work on nylon bags.

Anyway, thanks again for any responses- Im going to continue to browse through all your excellend DISigns! :cutie:

Thanks for the reply! I did look into the canvas bags, but the problem is that my group would prefer the nylon ones because they are a little more water-proof. Otherwise i would just do the iron ons on the canvas ones.

I am wondering if embroydering would be possilbe, but im not really sure on that process or the cost of something like that.

thanks for your reply!

We have an embroidery store near us, and it's not cheap. It think it was something crazy like $6 to put the school name on a polo. (plus the cost of the shirt!). Unless you ask around to find someone that has an ebroidery machine.

On the other hand, the canvas may be cooler to wear since it's a natural fiber. I can't wear backpacks, I end up with heatstoke because the heat doesn't get released. Something to think about.

Do you have a printer near you? Maybe they could do screen printing onto the nylong backpack?

Hello Cape Pirate I have never used this website however i think this is what your are looking for adprospb.com & it is under sling bookbags. Hope this helps. :thumbsup2

Hi everyone! Thanks so much for your help! That website with the slingback book bag is just what i was looking for- i found a few other websites like that where you could order them as a kind of promo item, but the minimums all seem to be about 100 and i only need 15!

I did however find this website: http://www.instructables.com/id/At-home-silk-screening-on-the-cheap/

i think this is something I could test out and not be out too much $$. Im trying to think of what kind of paint to use that would adhere to nylon and am thinking that maybe that spray paint that works on plastic would be an option?

Does anyone have any thoughts on this process or has anyone done something similar?

thanks again guys you rock!:thumbsup2
