Thanks for letting us know what's happening! I'd be like you. I'd want plenty of time to plan it. Get some guide books and start thinking about what you'd like to see. They just had a feature on one of the tabloid shows about how there are tours in Paris now for people who have read The Da Vinci Codes. The tours visit the major landmarks of Paris, which figured into the book. I haven't read it, but will try this summer...Anyway, I think you'll appreciate Paris much more once you've prepared adequately! (The same as the enjoyment that we get from these boards, and then from enjoying the fruits of our research once we arrive in WDW!)
Anyway, get started on getting your passports, now that you know you may need them! You may even want to investigate your options for getting to
Disneyland Paris once you arrive in France. As I recall, it's about an hour out of the center of the city. We had a car, so it was easy for us to get there. Travel within Europe by plane is notoriously expensive, but by rail is much more reasonable, or at least it used to be. We need to find that French guy who was posting here a while ago! He could fill in the specifics, I'm sure. Anyway, thanks again for updating us!
