Thanks for all the advice and kind words everyone! I promise I wont let it ruin my vacation! I will make an appointment to see an endocrinology doctor asap. The PCOS thing is interesting. I have always had trouble with ovarian cysts and very heavy/irregular periods. I've been taking BC since I was a young teen for these very reasons.
I don't pretend to be the healthiest person, and I've never been a "health nut." But I just know something is wrong. A 15-20 pound weight gain? Sure I could blame that on not enough exercise/ not so great of a diet. But THIS MUCH just seems so extreme.
I'm so exhausted most days that I can barely drag my butt around my apartment to do chores. Especially with all the homework I can often barely manage. So it feels so overwhelming to start some some sort of real hardcore workout. Then I think about how much I dislike my body and more depressed! It's such a darn vicious cycle.
