So here we are....our last few hours at Disney. I find it to be depressing in a way. I hate going home.
We figured that we'd cash in all of our remaining snack credits and then see if we could do one last thing on our way out. We went to the snack place (I can't remember what it is called) at DHS. Let me tell you, the drama in this joint was unreal. We spent no less than 45 minutes trying to cash our our 8 lousy snack credits.

The CM that helped us was clueless. When I say clueless, I mean totally clueless. She had to start our order over at least 4 times. It was borderline ridiculous and I was getting frustrated beyond belif. What sent her swirling was the fact that on top of the 8 snacks, I dared to want to buy a caramel apple with nuts! That sent her totally over the edge and she had to get 2 other people to help her.
After standing there for what seemed like forever, we didn't have any time left to browse any of the shops or get any last photopass pictures taken. It was time to head to the airport.
After leaving DHS we drove into Hess so that we could fill both cars with gas. Some dude cut me off at the gas station and nearly caused an accident. People need to pay attention. Yikes, the money Joe and I spent on gas this trip for 2 cars was amazing.
I drove one car and Joe drove the other to the airport. This was the first time that I didn't get to take any pictures on the way out since I was behind the wheel. No "see ya real soon" sign for me.
We got to the airport and returned our cars. I thought that Joe ran over some little birdie but the lady said that the car before him did. So sad to see the squished little guy.

The receipt machine was broken so we had to wait for what seemed like forever to get moving. I was thankful though that we were able to use the airline check in at the resort for our bags, even though it cost us a TON of cash for our luggage. $170 was a bit steep for me.
The security line at the airport was HUGE. I don't remember ever seeing it like that but in this trip filled with drama, I can't say that I was surprised. After getting through security, we said our good-byes to my brother since his flight was out of a different terminal. We made our way on the fake monorail for one last trip.
We had a little bit of time left and everyone was sort of hungry since we didn't get our final light lunch at DHS like we had hoped ... thank you craptastic CM that can't run a register. We picked up snacks and last minute trinkets in the gift shop and made our way to our gate.
The flight home was uneventful. We had booked our cab home at the same time we booked our cab for the flight out but of course, as luck would have it, the dude was not there and we again waited for what seemed like forever for our cab.
I was happy in a way to get home to see my kitties. I missed them so much however at the same time, bummed that my craptastic, drama filled trip had come to an end.
Before my final thoughts and such, I wanted to share some photopass pictures with you.
I'll be back with my final thoughts....
