We're going to be at WDW in a week and plan to reserve one day for Disney Quest or one of the water parks. My question is which would be best for 4 and 7 yo dd's and why(we also have an 11 mo.)? If you suggest a water park which one?

We've never been to a Disney water park, but we did try the Chicago DQ 2 years ago before it closed. We weren't overly impressed but it might have been because it was very busy.

Thanks for any input.

A water Park. DQ is more suited for older kids and strollers are not allowed. Tough with a baby. There should be something at the water park for everyone!!!

We have never been to BB but TL has a really cute play area for the little ones to splash around in, pretty sure BB does too. Also, our whole family always enjoys the "lazy river" that every water park has. You can all do this together. Have fun whichever one you pick!!

I have never been to DQ before, but I think I would only do that instead of a water park if the weather wasn't good.

I have been to both TL and BB with a tolder and feel BB is better for the younger kids. (there is plently for the older kids at both parks.) TL does have a kiddy place that is very nice, but I feel it better for kids ages 5 and up. BB one was great for the wee ones. Little slides, shallow water, not too much spashing in the face etc... But then again the 4 year old might really like TL better. It is a win win if you ask me.

However, if you choose TL (say the older kids really want to go there) it will be fine too. Water parks are a blast with a family. You can take the 11 month old on the lazy river too.

I would wait and decide when you get there, depending on the weather and how your family is feeling (or if they already have sun burns and need time out of the sun).

BB all the way. DQ might keep the interest of 7 yr old but there would be very little that the 4 yr old could do.

BB has a great kids area and family raft ride. The wave pool is also better for smaller kids. the waves at the one in TL are too strong.

I would definately say the waterpark over DQ. Even the 11m old will have fun playing in the water. My DS got bored after a little while at DQ he was 7 at that time. He prefers BB over TL, not sure why. The 4yr old will get bored pretty quickly at DQ.

I'd cast my vote for a Water Park. I have a 4 & 7 year old, and the 7 year old (was 6 on last trip) did like Disney Quest, but there wasn't a lot for the 4 year old. We didn't hit a water park on our last trip, but did the trip prior.

We went to Typhoon Lagoon when they were 5 & 3 and they both loved it! I would highly recomment it - lots to do for everyone.

Definatly BB! It's the best and there's something for everyone there. Plus water parks are just so much fun!
