Is it safe to leave an ECV outside of stores at Downtown Disney (in case I want to stretch my legs) as well as outside of Planet Hollywood while we have dinner there?

Yes. As long as you remove anything from the basket that you don't want to lose and take the key with you.

Is it safe to leave an ECV outside of stores at Downtown Disney (in case I want to stretch my legs) as well as outside of Planet Hollywood while we have dinner there?

DH and I both use ECV's and have parked them outside the stores without any problems. Actually, I would rather walk through the stores than try to maneuver the ECV through the crowded aisles.

I have left my scooter outside many times never a problem. Just make sure you take the key
