Downtown Disney???

What's the best way to get to Downtown Disney from the Fort? Is there a shuttle...or is driving a better option?

We prefer to take the bus to DTD. Parking can be a nightmare at the DTD parking lot. Also... if you "happen" to over-imbibe (who does that?), you don't have to worry about driving back to FtW!!

Either the bus or driving. If you want to drink, I'd take the bus. If you are limited on time, or need to stop by the store, then I'd drive.

We've done both.

We took the bus just because it's more relaxing. Can't say much for DTD though. Seemed rather a waste of time for us (we aren't really into spending a ton of cash on a bunch of junk since the trip cost is all we can get in our budget). Been there, seen it, done it and we won't go back--JMHO

If you go to DTD in the early morning, drive.

Otherwise, I say take the bus. The lots fill up after 11 and it is a PITA to find a spot worth remembering where it is.
