Downtown Disney to the Parks

Is there any Disney transportation from DD to the parks? I've got a feeling there isn't - the DD buses just go to/from resort hotels, is that correct? Are you able to get a taxi from DD to MK? Where would a taxi drop you off?

No, you're right, there isn't. In your particular case, taxis can't go to the MK- they go to the TTC. But you could take a taxi to the CR, next door to MK. Or take a bus to the CR.

Do you know if buses from DD to the resorts including CR are frequent or would a taxi be best for saving time?

A taxi is pretty much always going to save you time If you're willing to do that, I'd recommend it. The DTD buses are known for being inconsistent. The bus might also stop at another MK resort along the way.

You can bus to any of the MK resorts (Poly or GF) and hop on the monorail or boat.

DTD bus often stop at TL as well. We were at OKW (should have just taken the boat), but we were closer to the bus to waited about 15m for a bus. Bus circled past OKW, and went to the water park before going back to OKW.
