We are planning to have dinner at RFC around 4:30 on our arrival day and then heading over to DCA to see Aladdin and the Electrical Parade.

Does anyone know how long the walk is from RFC to DCA?

RFC is towards the back of DTD and one of the furthest walks to the parks. I would say it is 10 minutes at normal speed and 5 minutes if you power walk it.

I can't remember the exact time, but it is not a long walk, I would say less than ten minutes at a fairly leisurely pace. The thing to keep in mind would be that RFC is not fast food, so plan on a small wait (unless you are a club member, then you get priority seating), and then a normal service time. Are you wanting to see a 6:05pm showing of Aladdin?

Yes, 6:05 is the last show. It isn't being shown during the week and I don't want to miss Fantasmic! either, so I'm hoping we can fit it in.

Hmmm... 4:30 at Rain Forest doesn't seem to me like enough time to get into the 6pm Aladdin show.

I think of Rain Forest and rather crowded and slow. What if they don't seat you until 5pm? Can you eat dinner earlier? I think Aladdin is not to be missed.

I agree with Brenda--unless you have Priority Seating for Alladin, you need to be in line at least 1/2 hour before the show--at 5:30.

There is no way you are going to get seated, eat and get over to DCA and Alladin in time.

If it were me, I would see the Alladin show at 6:05 then have dinner before Fantasmic/Fireworks.

You can call RFC and make reservations... definately do that... and make them for 4 pm... we've never had more than a 5 minute wait in DTD with reservations at RFC... you'll eat for a whole hour at least... maybe 1:15... be done at 5:15, 15 minute walk (to be on the safe side) and get to Aladdin at 5:30... that would work...

Our flight gets in at SNA (Orange County) at 2:30. I think we could make dinner at 4pm. We're coming from Maryland (3 hour time difference) so I'm sure the kids will be starving and there's no way they'd be able to wait until after to eat.

My Dh absolutely loved Beauty and the Beast at WDW, so this is a must see for us.

Thanks for all the advice.

You are in for such a treat! This show is so great. :thumbsup2

(Also, if you haven't already picked up this advice, make sure you have time as you leave the RFC for everyone to have a bathroom break...there are no restrooms in the theater. :goodvibes )

Yeah, you should be able to make it to dinner at 4:00. If you liked the Beauty and the Beast Show at WDW you will LOVE Aladdin... it is about 100 times better... seriously!!!
