this is pretty much what they sell

These guys add about $2.00-$3.00 onto their pricing so I'm not sure what the REAL pricing is

also the Scrapbooking stuff sold at Disney is exclusive to Disney (you can get stuff off ebay sometimes and store that charge a fortune like the one above)
I know they sell the 3 ring binders cause I buy 1 each trip (last one I bought was Sept 2005) but it's not shown on that site and they never have been but they do sell them.

hope that helps

Those prices at Laughing Place are ridiculous...some of that stuff costs half that from what I understand. It all even regularly goes on eBay for less than that - and that really says something. And they are running a special and giving "discounts", LOL.

What irritates me about LP is that it supposedly is a Disney info site, yet they don't give the info that all that stuff is available direct from WDW much cheaper...it should be criminal how they rip off people who just don't know any better.

Wow, I just went down that LP list again...$60 for the same album WDW merchandise told me was $28.

And the tagline at the top of their rip-off site says "Where Disney fans shop..." My god, it should say, "Where Disney fans come to get ripped off..."

Hello! Wow, LP huh? Ive seen their site, and was shocked at the prices. Never thought about getting the item and calling Disney... ha ha ha. Great one! I am unable to find any Lilo & Stitch stuff. Except for the stitch punch. Any ideas? I've only been scrapping for about a year. Our Disney summer trip in June is my first really big project. And it's working out great. Now I'm working on OHana dinner and breakfast with Lilo & Stitch and I'm at a loss for stuff to add.

My first trip to the DSS was a HUGE let down. I went this summer, got one of the Disney World Park Icons package, got it home and the solid color paper barely match the design paper. But, I used some of my own solid paper and they look really great. But the store was disappointing. I was in and out with my purchase in less than 20 min. My DH said "YOU are kidding. Your finished shopping in there?" ha ha. He expected me to be in there for an hour.

Also, I saw your swap pics. They are great. Forgive me, but what is the Swap? Do you tell others how you did those projects????????? ;)

Well since EK has been coming out with some really great (different) character items it wouldn't surprise me if Lilo and Stitch stuff comes out soon.

as for the pics thanks alot for looking :)
A swap is a group of "friends" getting together and doing different elements for a kit.
for instance lets say we are doing a swap with
a topper, a photo mat, a journal box and a tag. There are 4 spots. people pick a spot they want and make 4 of that item. Say I pick topper to do and you picked photo mat, mickey picked journal box and minnie picked tag. I would make 4 toppers, you would make 4 photo mats, mickey would make 4 journal boxes and minnie would make for 4 tags. We all send the items to the host (the person who is hosting the swap) the host will take all the items and then mail back 1 of each back to us. So we would all end up with 1 topper, 1 photo mat, 1 journal box and 1 tag. that is swap

as for explaining how to do something you can ask me how to do anything i've made and if I remember I will let you know how i did it LOL

Thanks for saying that. I thought the albums were going to be $60 at Disney. I was just going to buy the one from Joanns but I will wait and see.

According to an email WDW Merchandise sent me last week, the 2006 Album is $28, and the Tinkerbell one is $32. When I wrote them I only requested "kits", so they only listed the two, but I'm assuming those prices are along the lines of what the other albums are as well (the Christmas, etc.).

Also from what I have gathered (this is my first trip as a scrapper, so I've been in research mode), the Capture the Magic paper kits are around $15 each. Those are what, $40+ at LP? Crazy!

On my trip next month I'm going to try to make a list of what is there and the prices, and take some pics, just to keep up a thread here for reference purposes. It's a common question, and that way people also don't get their expectations too high, or too low - we could try to maintain a list as time goes on.

If I did something like that in a few weeks on my next trip, would others help in checking on their trips to maintain price changes/new items/etc.?

Will Do NewEnglandDisney! I go Dec 14th through 19th and my first day (before the BIG MVMCP) I have 3 hours planned at Downtown Disney! I'll take my camera.
