Downtown Disney restaurants???

Our flight arrives at 1:45 and I plan on using this first day to explore our hotel and the grounds little and maybe swim, or go shopping at DD. I would like to make a reservation at a restaurant in DD. Any suggestions?

All the reviews I've read say wolfgang puck express (quick service) and Wolfgang puck cafe (table service) are both amazing. We plan on going to them when we are there.

Hi - it depends on the type of food you like. Take a look at menus for the restaurants (many at www.wdwinfo.com or I'm sure they have websites) and see what you like. Our first dinner when we arrive is usually at the House of Blues but we also like Paradiso 37.

For a TS reservation, we love Raglan Road. This was a restaurant my daughter wanted to try and we fell in love - great food and entertainment.

We had the same plan last week. Arrived afternoon of 5/27. Swam and went to DTD for dinner. Ate at House of Blues. Food was really good and service was great!

Restaurants.com has coupons for HOB for cheap! Got a $50 coupon for $3. the other option was a $35 coupon. The way the deal works is if you use a $50 coupon, your bill has to total $100. I guess with the $35 coupon, your bill has to total $70. With 2 adults and 2 kids, along with a few glasses of wine, it wasn't hard to reach the $100 point.

We enjoyed HOB. Allears.net has the menu. Good luck and have fun on your trip!

I've eaten at every restaurant in DTD, some more than once, and our favorites are House of Blues and Paradiso 37. Ragland Road is a good option as well.

As the previous poster mentioned, you can get a $50 gift certificate to HOB for $4 on restuaurant.com

My vote for a sit down meal would be Raglan Road. We really enjoy it there. The food is great, fun entertainment and good service.

The new chicken place, Pollo de Campo, is amazing! My mother in law sat across from me and commented that she "has never had chicken this good" in her life! It seems like no big deal from presentation... but the flavor and sides are incredible! Try it if you like fried chicken and/or mexican food...

This past January I ate at both Portobello and Fulton's for the first time and both were great meals. I would eat again at either without reservation.

I like Raglan Road and House of Blues. For salads and sandwiches - I like Earl of Sandwich.

pucks is my favorite at dtd followed by raglan road and pardiso. not to make your decision making process even harder but don't forget right there nearby are the restaurants at the swan and dolphin OR you could always hit a place at the boardwalk...flying fish is super yummy.

I would say if you have kids Trex would be great, big portions of food and the atmosphere is really cool.

Just adults I would say Fultons is lovely. Pucks the express one in the marketplace is great, Cs meal but table service.

Considering HOB here as well, have ate their once before.

We recently got a WP, so I don't know if we'll try that- we can always go try it here.

Wouldn't mind trying Portabellos -- and not technically a restaurant, but we are going to Ghiradellis!

Is in necessary to hava a reservation for DTD? I've seen a lot of you put "without reservation" when speaking about a restraunt.
