Hello,

I have been the WDW several times, and have yet to visit DTD for any meal, we usually head that way for shopping only. This time around I would like to try some restaurants, so my question is which restaurants are recommended, either CS or TS. Pictures of favourite dishes will of course be appreciated!

Thanks!

For table service, check out Fulton's Crab House, Portobello or Raglan Road. For quick service, without a doubt go to Earl of Sandwich. Wish I had pics to share, but I don't. Why not check out the menus on Allears.net?

We have only done Fulton's and we love it. We've never had a bad meal or bad service and we've been there at least 15 times. However, they are NOT on the dining plan. We hear great things about Earl of Sandwich all of the time and we are finally going to give it a go this trip.

The T Rex restaurant is awesome, the kids love it, we do it every time we go. If you are looking for counter service, Earl of Sandwich is good, I haven't been too keen on the sandwiches I have had from there, but love the salads!

Another vote for T-Rex. We just ate there a few weeks ago and it was great. The food and service were very good.:thumbsup2

Planet Hollywood has the most food options, but it's very loud in there. DD16 loves their Cap't Crunch chicken fingers and the ribs are some of the best around. Another plus there is that I've never had a problem getting seated right away even without a reservation. Probably because there are 3 floors of seating.

My favorite place in DTD is Raglan Road. Great food and a beautiful restaurant. The bars and most of the woodwork were brought over from Ireland and are over 140 years old. Wonderful selection of dessert options as well. Individual bread pudding cooked in giant mugs and come with 3 different sauces on the side. I love the raspberry sauce thingie that comes over a baked meringue. The steaks are great too!

Wish I had pictures, but I don't.

Sorry....no food pics here either. However, we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Raglan Rd. It's awesome, fun atmosphere, never had a bad meal or bad service in all the times we've been. Earl Of Sandwich is a must for CS. We've never had a bad meal there either.

Haven't eaten TS there, but CS is great. Both Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck's Express hold favorable views from most everyone.

We eat at both usually. WPE, is bang for your buck. It is CS, however you are treated more like TS. As you order at the counter, find a seat and they bring it to you. Even waiters refill your drink. That is service at a CS place.
Food is very good as well.

Haven't seen any votes for Wolfgang Puck Cafe. Have ressies there for my trip; is it good?

:We love the WPE in the Marketplace. We had 4 meals there last trip:worship:
Cooke's of Dublin is also good.
We are also big fans of the Wolfgang Puck Cafe.:thumbsup2
DH didn't like the HOB. NO bread:lmao:came with the dinner. It is still 10 years later a running joke with us.Altho the food was decent
Fultons looks good but we can't bring ourselves to spend that amount of money there. We did do Apps in the bar area & they were very good.

I'm a HUGE fan of Wolfgang Puck Express. We go at least once a trip and everyone has their favorites in my group including butternut squash soup, chinois (asian) chicken salad, warm turkey melt, BBQ chicken pizza, 1/2 rotisserie chicken with garlic mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. I've tried them all and everything has always been delicious!! Must do!

We love Portobello Yacht club and Wolfgang Puck Express. the Butternut Squash soup there is exceptional. Not that impressed with Fulton's. We go to Maine a lot and get better seafood for much less money. Haven't tried Raglan Road yet.

My favorites are Fulton's Crab House and Earl of Sandwich. Bongos was really fun (Cuban food and music) but we went there before children.

House of blues, wolfgang puck, and rainforest cafe are all great restaurants. Earl of sandwich is great for lunch. Enjoy!

We love Wolfgang Puck Cafe and the kids really enjoyed their ice cream sundaes for dessert served on a painters palette (of course that was 2 years ago so not sure the kids dessert is still the same).

Yes, I was agreed if you try the Earl of Sandwich. If you are interested you might have to look for the origin of this sandwich. This might be good for your good reservation.

EARL OF SANDWICH !:banana: I can't say enough good things about the food. This is always a most stop for us.
